- I am so, SO excited, and shocked to announce that I am the newest artist for my favourite boutique guitar company EVER, Elliott Guitars! it is the absolute biggest privilege to be playing these guitars and to be in an artist roster with some of my biggest musical influences is something that I still can't believe. This is such a huge deal! A huge and amazing privilege to be a part of! And the first Australian/Filipino to be a part of the Elliott Guitars family! This journey starts back in 2019 when i first met Andy Elliott and the team at Summer NAMM in Nashville, Tennessee. I remember hearing and seeing photos, videos and articles about Elliott guitars as a teenager from some of my favourite guitar players and gear pages including Drew Shirley @drewshirley, James Duke, @thejamesduke, Peter Stroud @peterstroud, @jhspedals and a whole lot more and was always so curious to try one because of how amazing they looked, sounded and i knew that there was something special about those guitars.
And when i first played an Elliott Guitar, i was immediately floored by the quality, attention to detail, sound and feel for these guitars! So to be chosen to be an artist for Elliott Guitars, I am SHOCKED, BLESSED, HONORED & HUMBLED!
In this VLOG, i show you the journey of my first encounter with Elliott Guitars, the journey of getting here and the incredible privilege it is to fly down to North Carolina to see the magic behind the scenes of what goes on to make some of the most incredible guitars on the PLANET! I don't know what I've done to deserve this, but all i can say is that God is good.
A HUGE Thank you to Andy Elliott and the Elliott Guitars Team and Eduardo Andrade for making this all happen! Yall took really good care of me in North Carolina and I am lost for words! Thank You, THANK YOU, THANK YOU all for supporting and believing in me, even when i couldn't.

Christus Victor is a theory that emphasizes Jesus' victory over the powers of sin, death, and evil through his death and resurrection. In this view, Jesus' death is seen as the ultimate triumph over the forces that hold humanity in bondage, restoring harmony between God and humanity.
On the other hand, the penal substitutionary atonement theory, which many evangelical Christians adhere to, suggests that Jesus died as a substitute for our sins, bearing the punishment that we deserve. At the end of the day, imo, this perspective, while different from Christus Victor, is not necessarily contradictory. I think it offers another dimension to the multifaceted or complex understanding of Jesus' sacrifice.
In short (the simple way of putting it), Christus Victor highlights or magnifies the victory of Jesus over the cosmic powers of evil, while penal substitutionary atonement underscores the substitutionary aspect of Jesus' death.
