Yesterday I was down -90$ and today I’m up 390$ I’m so glad I cut my losses early yesterday and not dig my self a hole . Becoming a much better trader .
Learning when to stop, exit or take a loss is about 90% of it. Good job.

So glad you do these debriefs every night - it really helps hearing you think out loud. Listening in the morning while you're on, and then reviewing these at night is really upping my game. Warrior Pro is definitely all it's claimed to be and then some!
Im new to day trading would you recommend any platforms to trade on?
6 green days in a row avg. $700 per day (goal is >$400) and nailed CTMX with a short for $500 and ended the morning with $870. Lately I've been using the "Momentum" trading in reverse or inverted and shorting stocks. I haven't had a red yet.
Lately seems like a good time to be short, everything is so short lived to the upside. 😅
Shorting is much easier , just be careful always cut your losses if your mental stop loss is crossed. Usually short trades consistently grow but then have a maaaasssivvvvee p/l loss

I hit on CTMX today too on a call. Even when CTMX crashed for about 5 min because of the volatility, I stayed in and made a nice profit 😎

HI Ross, Thanks for your great content. I was wondering what trading platform you use in order to have such fast live streamed candles. My platform is low and the candle price action seems sluggish and certainly not as quick as yours. Any insight would be great as I think this would improve my trading entries. cheers

What broker is best if you live outside US? And does the trade Dash work for every broker? I want to start trading like Ross but I don't know how to set it up.
Your videos have helped me a lot since I find interest in forex trading. At this point, my problem is understanding the candle stakes and when to enter the market to buy or sell.. but since I started watching your videos, I've begun to understand things.
forex trading is for extremely experienced traders with 10 plus years of experience.
Do paper trading for 6 months with your strategy, after that if it’s working good and profitable, try trading with small amount of money
Else you are just giving away hard earned money to market

Is there an app or a tool anywhere that I can use for stock scanning? I'm currently trading on 212 in England and can't seem to find anything on there
I've had a slow few weeks recently on paper and have been a bit gun shy since I had a harsh loss in my real account. This week wasn't looking too great either and I've been hesitating quite a bit. When PALI popped up on the scanners, I jumped in just before you did and I leaned into it since it had momentum. I got 4 trades and made almost $1300 on the upside of the move. I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of staying disciplined in trading, but even on paper it was kinda hard to jump back in after a loss. About to start Ch. 14 on psychology in your course! Really looking forward to this one! Thanks, Ross!
-$227 on PALi. Didn’t find courage to fill in when it spiked in the beginning. But i traded later when price went up. I didn’t understand my thought process today.

Cant imagine trading on the 1 min charts.
Ross typically trades lower market caps/specifically low floats. He does have minimum volume parameters to make sure there is enough liquidity.
I did well initially but I got smoked on SYT coming out of the halt. It immediately reversed and halted down. Lost my shorts.
Been watching your videos last few weeks. Today was the day to give it a shot and CTMX was my target. Worked well obviously🎉
Nice little green day today, 374.00, so happy with that. The Dow jones did me proud and a little bit on the FTSE to round things of. Was green yesterday as well, but not as much, nevertheless, green is green and that’s what counts. It’s nice to see ross in more less volatile mood lately. Setting a great example by earning a respectable amount and calling it a day, instead of giving some or all of it back. We all know ross wins more, than he ever loses and how tempting it is to keep going, especially when your up, but walking away with a few grand in your pocket is definitely the thing to do, so well done ross, keep making money, after all, your the greatest trader on you tube.

Saw you trade PALI this morning. Dang you're quick! I'm not ready to jump in that quick yet, but once PALI set up for its first pullback on the 1min, I took the dip as buying came in. Got 100 shares at $9.18, sold into the spike at $9.59. Great start to May! It's also worth noting that I would have missed the whole PALI move without Ross's scanners. So the $19 bucks I paid for 2 weeks Pro trial has already paid for itself twice over.
What scanner are you using?
Do you have to give the scanners back after the 2 weeks? I want those scanners but Dash is nearly 200 bucks a month.
@charliemcgrain you don't even actually get the scanners for yourself with the trial. Real-time data costs money, so scanners for that data are $99 per month minimum wherever you go. But when you're in the chat, it's easy to see what they've jumped on quickly.
@charliemcgrain gotta be careful on those chats, though. Easy to over trade and chase there. Better to run their callouts through your own rules/starndards.
@@Matthansmail Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate the help. I am going to try the Finviz Elite for a month. The free version has all of the search parameters I need, bit its delayed and there is no pre-market data. I seem to be finding exactly the same stocks as Ross, but not as quickly. A good scanner is gold. Saves so much work. I'll post back about my results with Finviz. Yep, follow Ross's advise, never ghost trade, you have got to work out how his method best suits you, right. That said, he has changed my life. Profitable for 2 months, 100 per day. Just got to start scaling slowly. Happy trading, brother.
Hello everyone, my son and i are really interested in learning day trading. I have been making him do as much research as he can. Looking into multiple platforms, commissions, fees, and so on. My plan is to spend a month learning on a simulation before opening an account. Once we feel comfortable, we will open a cash account to start small and hopefully build from there. We have not decided on an amount to start with. I'm just curious if anyone has good starting advice or things to 100% avoid.

Yes, we have a news system integrated into our Live Trading and Chat room platform.
2nd DT got in on that CTMX... I had $3.50 as target to break, got in @ 3.72 and out @ 5.72...

I was paper trading CTMX just before the jump from about 3.80 to 5.80 and saw that it suspended trading for about 2 minutes after that jump. As a newbie, couple of questions, why would it jump so much, so quickly, and why was it suspended for a couple of minutes? Thanks. Love your content by the way. Great info for someone just learning about day trading.
It's called a halt in the video Ross says false halt.. for me on TD Ameritrade it halted at $4.60 for 5 minutes at 10:14 a.m. and resume at 10:19 a.m. this doesn't seem the case for others I'm wondering if my data is wrong or something

Are most people trading pre-market now? I feel this strategy is less likely for open market trading - thoughts?

$Cytomx Therapeutics Inc the thing that confuses me ( I play both sides short and long) is why this ran 200% today? Like, the actual updated isn’t till next Monday.

I'm jazzed to have made 1.5% in 8 minutes today....one round-trip trade.
I guess I'm getting up too late. But Ross said in a video for beginners to wait until 10am because between 9:30 and 10am it was hectic and harder for newbies. As a new trader, should I try pre-market already? Because to me, like yesterday, I didn't find any stock worth trading today.
Typically there’s a big increase in volume at 7 am eastern time, as most US brokers open up and allow premarket trading at this time. News is released usually at the top and bottom of every hour, although sometimes news will come out at random times. These waves of news typically start at 7 ensure you pay close attention at the top and bottom of the hour for fresh news, up until the open. Usually see at least a few pop up premarket like PALI today, which provides some opportunity. Try trading in a sim first or use 1 share, also change TIF (Time in force) to extended hours or whatever terminology your software uses so it knows it’s a premarket order.
@@AnthraxDust Thanks for the input. I still have to figure out how to find news about the stock on my scanner quickly. This is all relatively new to me, but I already understand way more than I did not long ago. I've been trading a bit with a paper account, but with real money I'll be using TradingView connected to IBK because IBK has weird Windows 95 charts. So I can't wait to practice with the real setup, but I have to pay 1$ per trade as a non-American.

If trades start settling overnight than I can trade full size 5 days a week rt?

@@rockstara.y.8653sounds like he is talking about the pattern day trader rule stating you can not take more than 3 trades in a 5 day period or you’re considered a professional trader and must maintain an account balance of $25,000.

CTMX! Green have had multiple red days in a row I found myself paralyzed and Frozen to take a trade.CTMX had a 5min. Halt at 4.60 is this not the case?
