@@VideoGameEsoterica Second this too! I'd love to know more specifically about how the HDR CRT emulation works on an OLED with the Direct Video scaler. (I think RUclips even supports HDR now? Memory fails.)
@@VideoGameEsoterica the mask stuff, to me, is the main selling point of the RT4k when I already have a MiSTer. What I've seen so far from these videos looks great, but not a $700+ difference to the MiSTer's native output IMHO. But that's kind of moot to me anyway because I pretty much never go for the clean pixel look when I use MiSTer's HDMI output. I'm always trying to emulate one of my CRTs, which I think the MiSTer by itself only does an adequate job of doing. Seeing the RT4k really nail even just one type of CRT (consumer shadow mask, consumer aperture grille, high res PC shadow mask, high TVL PVM, etc) would be the deciding factor for whether an RT4k is worth getting for me. Personally, for clean pixel output, MiSTer's more than sharp enough for my needs at this point 🤷♂️. I can see how super clean output is important to others though, especially content creators

Loving these Retrotink4K+MiSTer videos. Hope they're doing well enough to trigger more :) I have a question about scan lines in the video: aren't they in white rather than black? They don't stand out in black areas but seem a brighter pixel edge rather than a black gap. The image looks nice n bright n doesn't need HDR to compensate, but is this dark vs light scanline just an option somewhere?
Nice video but can I request another Mister DV1 video? I would like to see how 480i games and 240p/480i switching games look like. Think Tekken 3 (PS1), Silent Hill (PS1), Die Hard Arcade (Saturn) and Resident Evil 2 (N64).

The input is part of the the profile. Normally you just change the input and save over the current profile.
