- Hello all! Want to learn how to fly the Longitude? This video is a beginner's guide, describing in detail the plane's systems and procedures for a normal flight. There are a few other Longitude videos out there but I wanted one that features the latest build (SU 15) as well as explains everything in one video.

Thanks for watching!
Edit: I was wrong about the A/T on/off setting for landing perf. This setting is only for calculations and does not control the a/t.

I’ve loved this plane since I was a kid and owned FS2004 but I never understood how to operate it. So glad I decided to look up this video at 32. This is going to be one of my regular rotation planes now!
doing an around the world tour. opted for this plane as it would allow me to catch up with the other members of the group. I fell in love with the plane from the first time I got in the cockpit. thank you for the instruction.
Great tutorial! I fly the Longitude regularly but after watching your video I realized quite a few things I was not doing! Thanks keep up the good work.
I have been flying the CJ4 Longlitude for a while now. But after seeing the video I enjoy it much more. Thank you for your clear and calm explanation.
I generally know the Longitude but watching your video gave me a deeper understanding. Thanks for putting this out there it was a very good instructional video.
I have discover this plane with this video. Thank you for this detailed guide.
i love your input and teaching us to fly this jet... now i more enjoyed this plane. thank you so much
Thanks for the information you provided. I will continue to refer to this great and practical. I am new to the Cessna Citation Longitude.
Very good video and great tutorial. Thank you very much 👍 please more from this stuff. Happy flight 🛫✌️
Thank you for the knowledge.
Love that video. Learned so much. Please do more videos!
Thanks! Check out my channel for 747 and DC-3. Let me know if there's another plane you would like to see!
Great tutorial. I am currently learn the CJ4 however the Citation Longitude will be my next adventure.
Great guide! Thanks a lot!
This plane looks fun, I wish I could buy this plane alone without upgrading to premium deluxe. Thanks for the video

Love all your details and explanations you put in to this vid, one of the best ones I've found for actually being able to learn how to do what I want to do, in terms of setup, but dang, I'd be embarrassed producing a video with a frame rate like that! No wonder it was hard to line up for landing with that much of a slide show.... sorry I know it's a mixed compliment, but dang..... :-) just sayin.
Thanks for watching! The frame rate starting at around 500ft is a result of the recording unfortunately. In real life it was much smoother. However that wind was crazy!
Hi there,as an ATP rated in real life (oh thanks for the video) and flying a similar jet,I use speed brakes way more than in the video and never use flaps to slow down ! I would say the 700 in FS2020 is 70% close to the real thing but it definitely helps with familiarization,as I fly a bissjet transport category and dont have a fixed schedule,I use FS2020 (with its terrible weather engine) ONLY to get familiar with procedures/places unvisited, and sometimes duplicate real flights just to compare and have fun! by the way,why are you getting so much stutter? I use an old laptop with an obsolite GTX 1650 and it runs very very smooth! Cheers! Oh and hope FS2024 will gives those wonderfull Cirrus and TCU clouds and better cloud resolution and LESS transparency!
I’m watching your video for the third time. It’s the best tutorial on the longitude so far for me. I have two questions if you don’t mind. How to you set the stabilizer to -4.5. Which button and where is it? Can I use the same -4.5 from New York to Miami? Thank you.
The true CG curve to set the trim is in the manual. That -4.5 is a good value though. Elevator trim is bound to num 1 and 7 on the keyboard. You should be fine with that trim value even on that East Coast flight. Thanks for watching!
Another question. I know you are using Honeycomb B which specific handles are you using. I tried the Airbus with The Reverse Handles can’t get the Reverse to work seems only one side will deploy. Are you pulling back to the Reverse button or Reverse handles? I’m pretty well versed on set up.
@@scootermason2746 Apologies, but I only use a combination of keyboard, mouse, and Xbox controller to play MSFS. Feel free to ask your question on the Discord!
hi! does your msfs longitude do the NAV 1 activated ILS frequency morse beeps beeps? Mine doesn't
Hello! Just did a quick VOR flight and intercepted an ILS. No Morse code for either in the Longitude. Others online are reporting the same thing. Will follow up and try to find out more. Thanks for stopping by!
Upon follow-up, the audio for Morse code for Nav is under the audio settings panel. Have a great day.
Is this can fly direct londo to nyc with any weather conditions?
Well, I think you may be cutting it close as it's near the max range. Headwind from the Jet Stream would also complicate matters if you were on live weather. Try it and see!
Is this the stock plane or moded?
I think it comes with deluxe version of the game
Hello! The Longitude is included with the Premium Deluxe version of MSFS 2020. I am using two mods - Citation Longitude C700 (Tinted Windows FIX)
from flightsim.to as well as the Citation Longitude Enhanced mod available for free on the marketplace. Thanks for stopping by!
