You’ve teased that you’ll be flying the Longitude to Europe later this year. That’ll be fun to watch.. Please consider expanding the scope of your video for that flight to include all the preflight planning work required for a transatlantic trip. Or maybe even creating a separate video to talk about all you have to do to get ready for such a flight. That flight will be so different from all your previous videos.
Great landing. My team and I were at approach end of Rwy 9 parking planes as you came in. People said “what is THAT?” I said, that’s CitationMax in their new Longitude! Great to meet you at Garmin!
Hi Max. Great video, as usual. As a former Air Force F-15 pilot, I could tell that your copilot, Steve, was a former Air Force pilot because he has excellent radio discipline. I think you are a great overall pilot but you can learn something from your copilot. Keep up the great videos and I hope I can meet you sometime a Oshkosh in the future.
Well I'm sure the military gave you the necessary discipline that carries over to your flying skills. In my post to you, I was subtly trying to point out that Max has a tendency to "cool talk" on the radios to his buddies and fans, which I guess I can understand but it would not fly in Air Force pilot training. Anyway have fun flying the Longitude and make sure Max gives you plenty of stick time. 😎
@@jmax8692 why would you say that? I saw the same video. A whole bunch of GA aircraft landing, then comes N2RF with a landing made of butter. Dude… you’re just rude.
Man am I a fan of Steven. The guy is a solid solid right seat man. Absolute unit and incredibly aware (I’m sure he’s more than competent in the left seat, but the way he accents Max (IMHO) is an incredible match-up)).
@@tallyho4483 absolutely. I really appreciate your attention to detail. Hopefully I can attend next year and say hello. (Reading Fiat Food currently and cutting out cookies too!)
You’re so right about your copilot! I always think, “that guy could be a tv news anchor because he’s got the perfect voice!” Another reason I enjoy your videos is because I live in your area - HPN and SWF are my home airports. (And I also do dog rescue, as Citation Mom does!)
I remember my first solo flight into Oshkosh in February, 1962 with C-172, N7917X, Basler Flying Service provided some fuel and a "signoff" that I had arrived "SOLO." Great flight that day back to Marshfield. Three planes landing on the same runway at the same time is always a thrill to watch. Great times at EAA Airventure; especially when Paul was still on the grounds. I miss him and Tom.
That was so cool to ride along in the new Citation! As always thanks for taking the time to film and put these videos together for us to enjoy Max. Glad to see you all are doing ok and congratulations bud.
Max, another amazing video lad. My wife in particular loves the Citation Longitude because it's expanded her dating pool. She's partially owns one and now when she's on hinge, she can make a cross-country flight for a date that very same day. Incredible technology and precise instruments. Cheers mate, steady on.
Max, it was so nice to meet you in Oshkosh! It was my first time there ever, and I had an absolute blast. Seeing you there made it even better. I can’t wait for next year! 🤙
It’s so much fun being able to join you and Steven ( the voice ) on your journey, it’s a nice break from cattle branding and a break from the smoke . Thank you be blessed and travel safe .
Another awesome video Max! And it was a real pleasure to meet you at SOS on Sunday night at Osh. Congrats to the Citation family on the new bird…beautiful! Tailwinds always!
Ha! I can actually hear us on the radio during your departure, we were flying a photo mission in New York’s airspace apparently while you were filming. 7TJ around the 11:00 mark. Small world.
I was in at the Millville, New Jersey airport, KMIV, Sunday morning for breakfast. We were looking at several Cessna Citation Latitudes that were parked on the ramp. They were quite a bit bigger than I had expected them to be. 🛩️
Max: I said once before and I will say again, "Nice Jet"!!!! Great content and thanks for letting me ride-a-long. I love OSH and ready to get back there.
Nice. I like a good collab with Lepp Aviation. As soon as I saw his video, I had a feeling I'd see it here too. Glad you had fun in the controlled chaos.
That landing was so smooth it looked like the runway came up to meet you! I love watching the bucket thrust reversal. The Longitude is so gorgeous. Can’t wait to see the interior someday (fingers-crossed ). Thank you, sir. Gary.
Great Trip Guys! I love watching how you both communicate so clearly and work together so smoothly. We may need some new Citation Max & Stephen merch ✈🍪👨✈👨✈
Another Great Video Max! I haven't been home since last year, as OSH is close to my Hometown of Neenah, WI, just to the north. Spent many summers at OSH and enjoyed everyone of them. One of these years will meet up with you. Take Care.
Thanks for showing the startup procedure. I started flying this in msfs due to the honda jets lack of range (until the new models come out) it gives me a good idea how to not cheat and bypass the start procedure
That was me who called out the “silky smooth radio voice” in the comments to your last video! I was going to bring it up again, bc Steve’s radio calls are superb. Thanks for mentioning!!
Funny I was dropping off my daughter at Westchester yesterday afternoon and saw the private jets lined up and was thinking which one is CitationMax and boom new video today. Cheers!!
Someone show this to Dan as an example of how to fly big metal into OSH and not make enemies of absolutely everyone. Smoooth flying there 2Romeo Fox! My new favourite channel.
Such a cool channel by the way! The jet looks pretty awesome! I always have a weird anxiety about flying and I'm flying tomorrow. It's been 4 years. After watching some videos recently I am getting pretty excited to get in the air! Should be a good time.
Oshkosh resident here. Judging by the landmarks, you quite possibly encountered the birds near Waukau, which is where my parents house is. Pretty good possibility you flew right over it. The birds you saw were probably pelicans as we see them soaring in the area quite frequently. Thanks for the ride along.
Max, CitationDad didn't make the trip? I was hoping hear about his reaction to being there! Thanks for letting us fly in the Jump seat with you and Steve! I hope the Team is as strong as it looks, which will make for some Epic first and look at how it's done. LOL! I call you two the CitationBros now!
