The Brittish rule when it comes to the Ukulele Orchestra. This particular orchestra is the best in the world. Thanks for warming my ears and heart with your music.
It gets just better these people are simply amazing.
RIP Kitty
Absolutely brilliant
Pure genius. The other George would have been very proud.
My Dad loved George Formby and I think he would have enjoyed this rendition of Leaning, performed on what would have been his 92nd. birthday. Thanks - I'm looking forward to seeing you in Santa Barbara soon ....
Awesome. These guys have helped me through most of an an all-nighter.

Get Monday moving along briskly with The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain's Soviet-style reinvention of George Formby's classic uke tune "Leaning on a Lamp Post" from last night's QH show: ruclips.net/video/riS41Oh4MK8/видео.html

Don't know the name of the young lady singing Lovecats but she is BRILLIANT!! MUST keep her in the orchestra to compliment all the other good singers and great players! What an asset! Great choice of songs, only down side? Not enough of them! Thanks for posting
That's Laura Currie, who also does the video editing for their YT videos during lockdown. She's awesome!

"You ain't from round these parts, innit, my lover?" Hester asks this question at 4:33 and my question is this... Is "my lover" an affection phrase in the UK, specifically in Cornwall or in the southwest? She uses the same phrase in "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" video (where I was first introduced to the UOGB years ago). I have also heard this phrase on two other occasions while watching British telly. Thanks in advance from a big fan across the pond.
Hi Mike, you're spot on, it is a phrase used mainly in the southwest of England
@@emmamortimore1024 Well, thanks! I watch a lot of British telly and that one has been on my mind for quite a while. Warm regards!
Nasdrovia!
They played the same song in Edinburgh this year. But only one band member was the same. Can anyone guess which one?
sheare genius
Different, but entertaining!
jenial ojalá yegaran a mexico
Why I heard there "raz dva tri" ? That man is Czech ? I think not, but it sounds like our raz dva tri, so one two three
I think its just supposed to be a part of "slavic" style of this song. Anyway - I love it!
Lenin on a lamo post, surely?
Love it!!!
I WAS 16 THEN....SIGH......
What is Hester saying at 4:33?
"You ain't from round these parts, innit, my lover?"
Bet George is laughing.
um in a minor key
Of course, we have to recognise that the bloke leaning on the lamp post is a stalker and a sex pest who deserves to be locked up as a danger to womankind.
Like the guy cleaning windows is a voyeur
better if stupid audience didn't clap the beat and spoil some of it
Arsehole
That audience paid good money to be there and join in and enjoy the experience. You have paid nothing towards UOGB. Shut up and troll somewhere else.
