@@sarasou3972 I know there are good and bad people. Some people just want to hate people not the same as them and will look for excuses to do it. Other people will appreciate that there are people who live differently to them.
I'm not that shocked by what that guy at the start says. I've heard it before. I know why he thinks that way as well, the religious texts he's basing this opinion on, and the rabbi's he follows that say such things. It's the same with quite a lot of other religious texts when they talk of people who don't follow that religion. It's a much more difficult wall of division to break down than just a personal opinion.
There's some unbelievable blog post by a Rabbi out there, it's called "To dislike certain ethnicities is racist; to see Jews as equal is antisemitic". If you search for that you'll find it. In it he talks about how if you think Jewish people are equal to non jews then you're anti-semitic. Each paragraph is unbelievable. The article was originally on The Times Of Israel's website, but they took it down after a few days of it being up. I'm glad they took it down, it's shocking they put it up in the first place though.

How exactly? Almost all inhumane actions of Hamas have now been debunked. I still hate Hamas for the violence against Innocent, which is an unshakable fact. But the same is true for what Israel is doing.
There are no 40 dead israeli babies (exactly 1 died, which is tragic enough). No proof of rape, exepct eye witness that are not allowed to talk to the public. And its 800 dead Civilians, not the 1400 they tried to sell to us first. Roughly 200 of these Innocent have been killed by IDF fire.

Great content! I'm Muslim, very much fascinated with the ultra orthodox Jews! Seems we have a lot in common, including belief in the God of Abraham and Moses, valuing modesty, praying several times a day, eating properly slaughtered meat etc. The ban on smartphones is interesting. Most people waste hours everyday on their phones, imagine how productive one could be without the internet....

I've met a lot of Chabad emissaries, and, without exception so far, all their teenage children are more mature than their age and very outgoing, non-judgmental, friendly, and are generally predisposed to see the best in their fellow human beings. I'm sure there are exceptions, but I haven't met one yet. That probably comes with being exposed to so many different places and people, as Chabad emissaries and their families tend to do.

This is the first time I've seen a tradition were the men sit around all day and read a single book, while the women go to work.
It depends which community. Most men do work. Also many women work. Many women are housewives.
It's not a single book. It's the Bible, the people explaining the Bible, and countering how others explain the Bible. And then the next generation of explanations, and countering each other's opinion, as well as the generation before them. 2000 years of that happening over and over again is what they learn. And explain, and counter, and so on.

(Born into a so called Hinduism family. But my father is not at all into idolatry, idol worship and mother also just mostly taught us about nature).

I also wish everyone could live peacefully. As a Shiite you probably know that when fundamentalist Sunnis such as Hamas become the majority, they don’t allow minorities to thrive. Whether we minorities are Hindu, Shiite, Jewish, or Christian, the story has been the same through history. The holy land is sacred for all Abrahamic faiths so it must be peaceful and accessible. Therefore, the Western powers tasked Israel to be the custodian. In exchange for trade, aid & protection, Israel must maintain a secular democracy so the sacred places are safe for all tourists to visit. Israel also serves a defense purpose as a deterrent to conflict between different MENA factions.
It’s impossible for Hamas fundamentalist Sunni Arabs to ever control the holy land. The West will not allow it, but even if hypothetically it happened, it wouldn’t work. All trade and tourism would dry up and their fundamentalism will push the region into conflict and poverty. Sadly that’s been true every place they’ve gone. The reason Muslim nations won’t take Gaza refugees is they’ve been burned in the past. The refugees played roles in coups and civil wars of Syria, Lebanon and Jordan. They caused terrorism in Egypt and they supported Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. These are the facts which any student of history can confirm.
The best path is for Palestinian Sunnis to denounce Hamas, follow the more moderate Palestinian faction that controls the West Bank, and peacefully accept a 2-state solution where they are separate. Israel must continue as custodian of holy land, to ensure it’s still peaceful and accessible to Shiite and other Muslims, Christians, Jews, and everyone.
from these videos, seems to me the orthodox jews segment of the population make decent partners for any 2-state solution in palestine. the culprits appear to be newer settlers - often ashkenazim (maybe?), possibly also secular jews from north america hence bringing with them evangelicalism zeal, and aggressive with their "self-defense" approach. im still hopeful for a lasting peace between you guys, palestinians & israelis. ✌️🕊️

That's not true at all. I grew up in a conservative Muslim school and no one ever mentions neither Christians nor jews.. it's just a basic schooling system (math, history, science, etc) except there's one hour of Quran study (just like how jews have Torah study).
Even at mosques whatever you think is preached has nothing to do with any community. Literally it's just about Islamic events, holidays, and laws, that's about it.

Thank you for giving us an honest look inside everyday Israel. We have various areas in Lebanon as well, one of the most conservative village that I visited, woman and men were forbidden to interact in public, but when it's so easy to meet in the city and be free, at least a few have a secret life.

I'll never understand how some religious people are racists. It makes no sense. By religious I mean people that devote a serious amount of time and dedication to their faith. How can you have so much hate in you while you contemplate God. I simply cannot understand this and never will. Only logical answer is that they are not genuine in their worship.
Certain religions lend themselves to be interpreted in racist ways. The concept of goy and Jews having higher souls than goy is one example. I’m not Jewish so I don’t understand how they interpret it. But considering they identify as Jewish ethnically and religious it doesn’t seem unreasonable for that idea to be used by racists.

From my experience, the more religious a person is, the more they tend to be judgemental towards others... And that can include racism.

But Israel did try to reach for peace on many occasions (like 2005 when evacuated Jews from Gaza, only to get Hamas attacking Israel in response ever since, clearly saying it doesn't acknowledge Israel at all). I think it's impossible because BOTH SIDES.. both have made way too many mistakes throughout the years, therefore many civillians hate the other to the level of killing. Not all, of course, on both sides.. but I truly believe they are far from being a majority.
I lost hope here long time ago, think unfortunately it's not possible. A major reason in my decision not to have kids, I don't want them to grow in this place.. too much hate, wars, terror..

I'm an agnostic myself, but we need to face the truth here, Israel is a new world settler colonialism planted by the brits when leaving the region. Peace can only be achieved in that region with the establishment of a State of Palestinie at least within 1967 borders.
