@@Racing_With_Mitchell good to hear there are still good soles in the game up here in Cairns QLD it’s just daylight robbery for most workshops some of the story’s I have heard are Insain
All a bit over my head Josh, but thoroughly enjoyed the benefit of your experience and knowledge. Particularly loved the test drive at the end and got to share your exuberance and excitement, keep them coming mate.
Great video, I’ve just installed a haltech 1500 to my project and have managed to get it to run and idle pretty decent, I’m taking the car out this weekend to do some road tuning and this video has helped me understand what I need to do. I Would love to see more in-depth videos about the NSP softwares individual features as you explain everything very clearly.
I’ve being tuning my S5 6 port turbo with an older Platinum Sport 1000. I wished it had long term learning would’ve made things a lot easier for street tuning. It’s only boosting under 8psi at the moment on what I considered a conservative timing and rich afr until I get it on the dyno. Thanks for the video. I learned a few new things.
Why was your TPS reading 8.5% when you were reviewing the Ignition Timing. Engine was off and I would expect the throttle was sitting at 0%. Great video btw.
Can u give me a bit more detail on your question. If it’s to rich it will pull fuel automatically in closed loop it just depends on whatever is on your target lambda map. Remember the goal of O2 correction is to get your actual AFR to match your target lambda AFR goals.
@@kevinobrien3063 I’m a bit confused do u mean for a catalytic converter? The before and after AFR? If so just ignore the afr past the cat as long as your AFRs coming out of the combustion chambers are on point u can bolt whatever exhaust u want on however changing the flow by changing your exhaust system will change your tune so whenever you change the airflow on a rotor in or out u want to monitor the AFRs and EGTs to ensure no damage occurs
"not a professional tuner"... Goes on to explain things perfectly lol good stuff. Loving these videos. Keep em coming.
Thanks for the feedback mate more to come :)
Great info so I can learn what my tuner is talking about on my Hybrid Renesis

To be totally honest I’m not sure but I’ll do my best to find out, I would say the 8.5% would be the starting position
Having linear timing do it not detonate on low rpm do is not too much timing?
No, u haft to remember most of the map in the boost section the engine never sees in the lower RPM
So am I right in saying it never goes into closed loop because it's always too rich

Yes you are right .
I was thinking about either side of 14.7 for a cat to work

Good video mate but you need practicing on gear changing. It was pretty pissed poor effort on the gears. Cheers Graham
🤣 I was trying to baby the box because at the time it was only good for 350 odd HP 😝
