Apparently in Nagaland 98% of Land are owned by Individual, Clans and Community so not much can be done by Forest Department. So not much fund comes into this forest Department however some EAP Project like JICA take cares of some critical community reserve forest in Nagaland.

After listening to Minister's speech, I found no wrong. This time only I'm supporting him. He said, church should take initiative in convincing public to plant trees, because through the Govt dept, they have tried but still not successful. So, since Nagas usually pay heed to what church leaders says, he appealed NBCC to do so.

NBCC already have tree plantation day on the month of June every year.

Eucalyptus silver oak is a fast growing tree with no deep roots and it was planted many years ago now they have replaced with more evergreen and deep rooted trees 🌲
