    NOPE, I won't miss growing cucumbers myself :) Iate more cucumbers this year than in the entirety of my whole life it seemed.
    I also realized that growing peas is a lot of work. So that's something I'd rather just buy the peas rather than grow them. Growing green beans though since those are much easier to deal with compared to peas :)

    I did a little life assessment this year, asking the questions, “what do I want more of in my life?” And “what do I want less of in my life?”.
    I am 50 years old and feel like my kids have grown up so fast, and am wanting to enjoy them before they are off in their own lives.
    I decided this translates to adjusting gardening goals and delaying doing the canning stuff that I am interested in. I decided that the amount of time was not what I wanted to spend, unless the kids wanted to do it with me.

    @24:46
    I wa listening to you and you said of canning enough tomatoes for like 2 years. I thought to myself 'Well, then there's the ability to can a WHOLE LOT OF things one year an dpotentially skip it for a year or 2' THEN you mentioned that point @ the time stamp above there :)
    It's really not a bad plan to grow a bunch of it 1 year adn do all that work so that you don't have to focus on that specific crop for a year or 2
    On a personal note- It's good to hear that you are a person that reads the Bible and is even studying with a friend.
    Peace to you and be blessed in Jesus' name

    I'm so glad you lessened your load this year bc of hurting your back last year. I believe we go through things so that we have to evaluate what and where we are putting our energies. What a blessing to share your abundance with the elderly! Another blessing that came out if this year. Thank you for sharing!
