Why button mashing doesn’t work but I replaced all ages restricted things with child friendly ones but I added another shot but I replaced all Buttons with the bee movie but
It was probably the brief clip of a real life street fight you showed in the original. Even though it wasn't graphic or particularly violent, youtube tends to crack down on street fight footage. My channel is primarily about MMA, but the few videos I've made where I included footage of street fights (for educational purposes) those videos were all flagged- regardless of how benign the fights were.
Rewatching this video and the original again and again to spot the differences. Got drilled by the basics of fighting games again. This is an elaborate ploy by RUclips so we can get better at playing fighting games.
I have to say, this video helped me a lot, I always struggle understand fighting game terms and this video really taught me exactly that in the most simple and understandable way to an amateur fighting game player like me. I don't feel like this video had that much to do with button mashing. It was more like intro to fighting game basic mechanics. But as it happens, that still made it a 10/10 video. I love how these are so accessible and you can show them to people who don't even play video games to explain things. Awesome work
I've been playing fighting games since I could reach the Street Fighter cabinet at my local pizza place. This is probably the best, most concise, well made video about fighting games I have ever seen. I will be showing this to anyone I know who wants to learn the basics.
I'll rewatch a Core-A video and think, "Wait, it's been HOW LONG since the Hadoken Spam video?" This one, I'll feel like it's somehow always been here and find myself surprised it isn't older.
Hey Core- A- Gaming, love the channel. Like many folks here, I have a great love for and long history with fighting games. As a young kid, my family went to see A LOT of movies in theatres. Sometimes to the tune of multiple times a week. My father, obsessed with getting the "perfect seat", always insisted we get there insanely early; usually multiple hours in advance. As a young kid with social anxiety, I naturally gravitated towards the arcade section in the corner of the theatre while waiting for our movies to start. Street fighter 2, Marvel vs Capcom, and several others were staples and I eventually started going to the theatre just to play on the machines. Fast forward to about 12 years later; I've somewhat lost touch with my love of fighting games, but of course, still a gamer. Now, I'm trying to get into next generation fighting games like SFV, DOA6, Guilty Gear Xrd, etc. So far, I'm having a great time rediscovering the franchises and genre I used to love, but I continue to find one incredibly frustrating problem with every fighting game I play on a next gen console: the bad connections. As we all know, you can only get so good at and enjoy a fighting game so much in training/arcade/survival mode, before yearning to play against human opponents. Now, maybe this is just a problem with my connection (which I highly doubt), but it seems as if every single ranked match I try to play, whether in SFV, DOA6, or MK11, is plagued with horrible, crippling lag. Any fellow fighting game fans have insight into these connection issues making ranked matches unplayable, or perhaps a reply from Core-A himself?
I'd love to watch this video but after getting burned with all those re-releases i might as well wait for complete edition and just stick to the older ones for now

im a beginner level street fighter player and I was in a SF4 tournament in Gamestop and I came to the final and to get there I used all of these techniques. I beat most of them by zoning them out with hadoken with Ryu, but there was also a button mashing russian guy who got really far with button mashing and I simply used weak punches and kicks to beat him in close combat while he button mashed a lot, he even asked how to grab and I told him, but I was just playing with him because I knew that button mashing doesnt work. I think the talk about frame data explains why very few people want to get as deep into fighting games as pros. Knowing what's + and - in the frames is, frankly, too much work for the average person. And I think it's why the fighting game community is one of the nicest when it comes to learning. Compared to something like League of Legends where there's so much stuff to digest and so many options open at any given time, similarly to how much frame data there is to keep in mind, yet the community will sling slurs at you for making one mistake in a match that lasts 40+ minutes and throw the game themselves right afterward and blame you.
