I have a set of the Rogue ST Pros with UST Mamiya Dart shafts. My most favorite Irons I have ever owned. Blade look, minimal offset. Easy to get the ball in the air, very forgiving. Plus, gave me back distance I have lost over the years.
Saw these in person the other day, they look great. I ended up getting some Takomo 201 irons with C-Taper shafts after seeing your's and several other's videos on them. I love those things! They are easy to hit and feel great, plus they look fantastic.
Too bad these irons came out after my custom fit in May 2021 when I was custom fit for a set of 2019 Titleist T-200’s with Tensei red AM(2) regular flex graphite shafts, all 1/2 inch short, 1 deg flat. These irons are awesome. I do love the technology in the Rouge ST pros and you broke it down wonderfully. My T-200’s also have tungsten in the heel and toe areas Not ready for new irons but these would be in the top 3 choices if I was along with Mizuno 225’s. Also, Like the on course review!
Which would you recommend, these or the Wilson D9 forged? I can get both with my favourite Modus 120's for exactly the same price. How would you compare feel and forgiveness? Thanks
Mr. McGolf, I have been playing golf for a year now and am ready to upgrade from my current ping i3+ irons. Are the rogue st pros heads smaller that my 20 year old pings?
I've been playing Mizuno MP-60 since they came out. I've hit other brands iteration of a hollow bodied iron and I'm not sure I'm comfortable with a 7 iron going 205. Just doesn't feel like golf to me for some reason. For these types of clubs does the gapping taper off as you get up towards your wedges??
I think they put some people off with the Pro name. On the other hand they get some players that want to play a "Pro" iron that aren't really suited to a blade or small players CB. I can't decide if it's good marketing or not.
I hate that callaway named those pros after the driver since typically when they do that it’s more of a game improvement type of club. I think better players will look past it just due to the name and badge with all the other choices out there.
@@seadonkey6913 why would you buy it with all of the good irons out there I don’t need to. If I don’t like the badge and the name there are 10 more good sets out there to choose from
@@ianshepherd6476 if it plays good and you don’t play it because of a name you are insecure. Golf is full of people who are insecure, like yourself, which is why you’re garbage at golf.

Great video, I love how well you teach and explain things. Your experience is very apparent.

Always great content 👌
Now it’s right. Thanks to Dave J for letting us know.
Luv’d Jim I want those
I like your on the course review. But take a higher handicap player with you and let them hit the same club on your next review. Nice golf course!!!

Yes they are not that strong
Par is a good score on #8. Such a difficult hole.
I play these pros, with the Project X LS shaft. Love love love them. Went in to try Apex line hit these and didn't go back to Apex

Im on the fence too, but the irons do work. That day I shot my lowest score for 18 of a 76.
Who cares what they’re called, if it works. Why are people so insecure?

I totally agree. They do look great though.
Shows how insecure people are.

Great looking clubs but that black Rogue thing on the back? Just keep it all metal. Keep it classy.
I am a lefty please send me that club!!!
There's no way you hit an 8 iron 170....
Small sweet spot...
