  • No one likes having to move benches and tool stands around the shop to make more space or get things out of the way. But if you add simple casters that can raise and lower with the simple push of your foot, imagine how easy things could be. Take a look at how we added these casters to our work stand to make everything easier to access in the shop.

That's so nice. Thank you. Unfortunately, I have several of those moments. 🤪 I'll try to share those as I can, too. Hopefully, I don't have too many of those.
      I really appreciate your feedback.

cool video, but dislike that leaning/flip style casters, had them on both my bandsaw and planer and both items I almost had tip over trying to get them rolling! rather lean over to save from that issue, pulled my shoulder catching the bandsaw once!!

Ouch, that's a legit concern. The combination of a small footprint and high center of gravity does cause issues. I actually just changed the ones I did on a smaller stand earlier today because of that very concern. Thanks for sharing.

I can't seem to keep mine to stay locked on the wheel even with nothing on the table. Any tips? I used the same template and everything

That's strange. Something has to be off. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the bottom plate that the caster is bolted to is upside down. Is that possible because it's easy to do on the installation?

@@RosinityWW thanks for the reply. I’ll take my phone out there and see if I did that. That’s the only thing I didn’t think of tbh

@@RosinityWWturns out you’re 100% right. I have the bottom plate that the caster is connected to the opposite way to yours here in the video. Thanks so much!

That's more good news than bad. That can be fixed. I was hoping you didn't have a defective product. 👍
