Are they going in the right direction here? Do you prefer this colour scheme? I just bought one the other day...Still waiting on it.... Good e reader does a Quick so so generic quick points on it but not an official hands on so kudos to you and thank you ....Cheers.
Once again the only thing keeping me from buying a Bigme is that stylus... it needs a redesign. Not only is it too thick, and made out of cheap glossy plastic... but that laser pointer is a serious problem. There are countries where laser pointers are illegal, now its usually based on the power of the laser and I doubt this one meets those ban requirements, but its still something to worry about when going through customs... not to mention it would be easy to turn it on and flash yourself in the eyes... Bigme needs a new stylus, make it a bit thinner (think apple pencil or boox stylus diameter) give it a matte finish, remove the laser pointer and replace it with an eraser functionality... then and only then will I consider a Bigme tablet.
I just bought the Boox Note Air 3 based on your videos! I am happy with it except for the current limitations of e-ink screens. So, I'm definitely keeping an eye out for further improvements! Carta 1400 or 2000?!
I don't see any reason to upgrade from the Inknote Color Lite to this newer one. The last Bigme update added layers to the notes app, which is nice. Both Bigme and Boox are getting most of the speed capabilities out of Kaleido 3. The next big upgrade has to be the screen technology itself, or moving up to the 13" size in Kaleido 3 or some technology that is better. It's good enough for my use case now.
How's the battery life for the Bigme Inknote X so far? Is it lasting longer than the Note Air 3 C (since the NA3C has BSR)? if so, how significant in difference? I mean, when you use it similarly to the Note Air 3 C daily
Early days but it seems pretty similar so far. They have instituted a pretty similar thing to BSR now, so I'm expecting some pretty similar results. :-)
Hiya, that's not one that I have tried. It looks like a simple and basic note taker though. I hope that it works for you! Please do drop back in and let me know what you think of it when it arrives!
@@KitBetts-Masters it would be between CAD 700-800 based on Supernote A5. So hoping the price wouldn’t increase a lot in exchange for improved/added features.
BigMe inknote color (first version with 6GB delivers handsomely in most scenarios) devices implement software for E-ink screen (for refresh, to minimize ghosting) is much superior than Boox devices for the same screen types including Boox hyped 'BSR' and complicated 'E-ink' center which is more of a trial and error not at all intuitive. Some Android apps do not work on Boox devices but works perfectly fine even with older Android 11. If BigMe could somehow able to improve their default XReader to match up with the Boox's Neoreader (especially navigation /reflow options for pdf docs)... Then BigMe is undisputed Winner.... As battery life on BigMe devices is much better.
Thank you so much for covering the Inknote X! Im really curious about how Bigme's "AI" screen technology compares with Boox BSR. Your video is the only video that gave a look between the two, and it seems both still struggle with color ghosting. Looking forward to further comparisons!
Yeah, I'm thinking that has more to do with the Kaleido 3 screen rather than anything that they can do about it. I'm taking more of a look in the livestream tonight, so hope to see you there!
I would really like something like this if it was in the 8" size. I don't really need note taking. But I do like the kaleido 3. And that tablet seems to run really good. I wonder if we'll get something like an S7 Color + that just this but smaller. We'll see! Great video as always!

Cheers buddy, glad to help. Plan is to show it in a live stream tonight, so check back in later. Let me know how you find it when it arrives!

Correct opinions.
I just ignore the stylus and use the Kindle scribe stylus instead.

Looking forward to the comparison between InkNote X and Tab Ultra C Pro!
Yeah, that's the battle of the eink power houses!
Thank you Kit! You’re the e-ink go to !
Cheers! Glad it was useful!

Yep agreed. The lite is still a good value way to get the kaleido 3 screen.

Bro finally what you recommend me Bigme Inknote X Color or the BOOX Tablet Ultra C Pro? please I need your opinion soon
Tab Ultra C Pro bud. Check my top ten lists.
@@KitBetts-Masters thank you brother!
Bigme needs to allow for a non-standard library location on the SD card. Library management is a challenge on BOOX/Bigme with more than 1000 books
Can we use one note on this
Hi, can you review or give me an idea about the Ginatech Kloud Note? Is it worth buying. I bought one from ebay and will receive soon.

incredible work on this video
It's appreciated if you will compare inknote X with tab ultra C pro
It only have wifi, doens't have any 4G or 5G (may be they ordered wrong component or there will be a 4G or 5G version)
Does it have a GPS chip? Will it run google maps or other mapping software?
It’s nice to have more choices but the CAD 1,000+ price tag is way pricey for me. Still waiting for Supernote A5X2.
Yep, although I must say, I would expect A5X2 to be priced in that region at launch. 🙂

Absolutely! TBF though, very different devices.
