When my father passed away last January and I can't go home because of this pandemic it breaks my heart. And when SB19 released this song I got too emotional because I remember my parents who sacrifice so much for us.I told myself that I will take care of my mom and my siblings so that my father will be at ease wherever he is right now😥😥💔💔

I lost my father right before last January on December 28th 2020. It was a really difficult time for me as well. He died a little over a week before my 18th birthday. I also think about him every day and when I heard this song I broke down into tears.
My mom also passed away last May 25 and this song always hits different. I am crying everytime I am listening to this song esp when the song is played in tiktok. 😔😭

MAPA. I think there are two meanings for this. MAPA is a Tagalog word for MAP which guides and leads us to where we are supposed to go, also MAPA is a combination of MA(mama/mom) and PA(papa/dad), it means MAma and PApa are the ones leading us to the right . And "Lataratara" is "La Tierra Tierra" in Spanish meaning "The world". A lullaby song saying "you are my world" to their child.
Correct and also Mata (👀 eyes) and Paa (feet)...

The song is not only about parents who have gone before us. Its basically about parents who are alive and the song pays tribute to them for always taking care of the needs of their children before their own and for making a lot of sacrifices in making sure that their children are ready and strong enough to face & survive the challenges in life. The song is also saying that the child is telling the parents that its now the time for him/her to take care of the parents & burdens or needs of the family so they can now stop worrying and its time for the parents to relax, rest in the meatime. Its like saying "Mom, Dad, you can relax now, I got this." 😁❤️

Hits the spot every time i listen to this. My mother passed away 2 years ago. We had an argument that morning and i left the house for work. That afternoon my wife called me before going out of work. She is rushed to the hospital and in a coma. She passed away without any chance to say that i am sorry. I didn't even have the chance to say that i love her.. i deeply regret it. I wished i could talk to her even a little.

It is La Tierra Tierra. In Filipino it sounds La Chara Chara. It signifies that the child means the world to the parents.
