Any news on when we finally will get the version 65-announced ability to declutter the library and have apps being hidden via the three-dots-menu, as they announced two months ago for an update now two versions old? We are 7 headset users in Germany over here, both 128 and 512 GB headsets - none of us have gotten the promised and much wanted feature so far, its also not in the experimental settings. Just TWO updates named version 65 arrived, two weeks apart, the first without and the second with text explanations of this feature being included. It isn't.

vrchat hand tracking in quest 3 pretty much works at same level with avp, locomotion is pretty easy to control too. My only problem for now is that left hand pinch gesture on quest 3 opens steam vr menu while ı try to enter vrchat menu. I couldn't remap it so if you know a way to do it, hit me up pls lol.
About the ai thing: Is it cool? Defenetly. Is there privacy concern? for me, yes. Do I think I need it? Nope. Is is useful? Maybe. Am I gonna try and play around with it? Hell yea!

The AI stuff is not comming to EU and Brazil for now it seems. Governments are not happy on Meta not declaring for users to be able to refuse usage of their data on their AI training.
If you use the webxr api, you can already see the Meta3 can recognise objects from the cameras. It says things like "monitor", "chair" "desk" and so on. So no need for AI for that part, but I guess it sounds better calling it ai :)

Visible cameras are good, it keep the cost down, but will be harder to clean and when they are open like that my guess it that they will not have any UV filter. Ultraviolet light is invisible and some say that UV-filters are unnecessary, but UV-light is what often what damage and age plastic and most cheaper lenses now are often made out of plastic. The small "microphone" near the caleras, can that be a led-light to indicate for folk around you that you are recording? Folk have take the Quest3 out into the public and maybe Facebook (Re-branded as Meta) want to make it more obvious when strange folk are filming with their headsets, just for privacy reasons.

That's sorta what I do now. I still have my original launch Quest 2 and have delegated that my fitness/Beat Saber VR device while I use my Quest 3 for everything else.
When it can guide you step by step on every day chores like changing your own oil or repairing your broken sink ect it will actually be genuinely useful. May put some handy men out of jobs tho when a ai can just tell you what to do
thats still a good thing. the new quest 3s coming out is a lite version of the quest 3, u will still own the best quest available when it launches the quest 3s is for people that want a cheaper option and most likely so meta can replace the pretty old quest 2 (quest 2s are out of stock and low on stock almost everywhere rn)

No.... no, you will not be able to look at a sink, and the AI tell you how to fix it. It might identify it as a sink, might being the keyword there. But for all of its improvements and usefulness, AI still isn't at that level yet.

The pc support just made psVR2 the best headset in the market right now. You can have re8, re4 remake, GT7 and Half life alyx in the same library!
