About 10 years ago, my wife received tickets to a talk by Henry Winkler at a nearby College. I complained, "What would I want to hear Henry Winkler talk about?" But, I went. And it was one of the most interesting, educational, and fun evenings you could ask for.
Yeah, I don't understand this reaction at all, lol. For me it's closer to, "What WOULDN'T I want to hear Henry Winkler talk about?"- dude is a living legend.
I'm more of a Happy Gilmore fan, but the Waterboy is a really funny movie as well. Winkler is one of the most likeable actors in Hollywood, and he was hilarious in the film.
Other than the Fonz, my first experience with Mr. Winkler was watching a video of him in my eighth grade English class (early 90s) talking about Shakespeare. What an actor.
This movie is so damn funny. Fairuza Balk doesn't get enough love for this movie but she was so damn good, as was everyone. She would be a great guest. So funny.
Adam Sandler has bought so much joy to millions. I will never forget watching this in the movies. I was in a serious relationship that was going through a tumultuous period. Me and the now ex went to see this. We laughed so hard. There are parts in the movie that either of us can bring up to this day and we start cracking up as if it was 20+ years ago.
@@Zack29810 I thought it was good. There always has to be some kind of twist. I like Barry's last words "Oh, wow". Funny, yet sad. I'll miss that show.
Love that Henry Winkler is a Chiefs fan! The Chiefs now have an impressive list of celebrity fans. Let’s do it again in 2023! Super Bowl Champs back to back
I had no clue until about 8-10 years ago that I could imitate the voice of The Waterboy...I worked at Walmart, and went in on my day off to purchase groceries and a case of high quality H2O and the cashier I thought might pee his pants because he was laughing so hard Lol's
Henry Winkler is the greatest actor in the history of television. He convinced the entire country a 135 lb. jewish guy was the toughest Italian in Milwaukee in the 1950s. Turns out he's also the greatest guy ever.
I saw a couple of Henry Winkler's films. Now the 1990s I'm very familiar with. Yes yes the nineteen nineties i'm very familiar College-age in the 90s. But yes I'd like to a couple of the movies that henry winkler was in😊
I was wondering the same thing. By context, I'd have to guess that it means something like core principles but I can't find it online. I presume that I'm not spelling it correctly. I've tried Yahdarum, etc.
Man I wish we got to hear what he had to say about the scene with the high heels. Seemed like there was a funny story that got interrupted, but maybe that's all there was to say about it. So funny either way

Waterboy isn't my favorite Sandler movie - that spot is and always has been held by Happy Gilmore - but I do love Waterboy. It's definitely way up there in the Sandler filmography.
i remember watching this at a young age and my dad didn't like it cause well my dad thought it was gonna do something bad to me cause the movie well wasn't really for a 10yr old.. but i watched it and started playing football.. well lets just say, cause of such movie i was a hard hitting linebacker... my imagination was really good.. i thought i was the waterboy lol
“The Waterboy” is the dumbest yet funniest movie ever, maybe next to, “Pet Detective.” I just watched “Waterboy” a couple days ago for probably the tenth time. But I still laugh like it’s the first time. Um, with Vicky Valencourt. Man, Vicky has one sweet a-s.

He’s coming to my home city soon, and I had the same thought as you. Maybe I’ll consider getting tickets.

Same! I got Happy Gilmore #1, Billy Madison #2, and Waterboy #3.
25 years and it still holds up. Absolute classic 😅
Henry Winkler is way too cool! Always hear great things about him and he seems down to earth. A guy you would want to go have a beer with.
Maybe the most rewatchable movie of all time
I always know a film is great if I find myself dipping back to watch scenes decades later. Inevitably I find myself rewatching the entire film.
“Remember the time Bobby Boucher showed up at halftime and the Mud Dogs won the Bourbon Bowl do ya?”
Henry Winkler. So humble.
