In my culture, we acknowledge all people by bowing slightly and calling them by their last name. I don’t call people by their first name unless they’ve asked me to do so.

What I love about Henry is he found himself in a one in a million situation: being the Elvis of TV. He took that power and used it to be a decent role model for kids. Also his Barry Zuckercorn on Arrested Development was one of the funniest characters on TV.

He made an excellent point about how parents need to treat their children! Most ppl stay blind to their parents' transgressions. Mr Winkler, you are a very strong person to turn out so sane. I've seen family videos of yours with you dancing with your grandchildren, and it's heartwarming. 💕 My now, 24 year old son read your books as a kid. He enjoyed them greatly and always got excited when another one was published.

Two legends! Jimmy nailed the comedic timing with "selfish rider" and you could see the smiles on all three faces. :) I watched Happy Days at Grandma's house growing up, and I played the tape cassette of the severe beating of a high school Spanish teacher in my Spanish classroom's headsets for the whole class and the teacher who laughed at it.

Honestly, this throwback style of hosting was incredible. Having them both on stage was so lovely, and this was maybe the best piece of late night i've seen this year. I believe this conversation will be one that's watched for a long time.

I grew up watching Happy Days, so obviously I loved the Fonze. 40 plus years later and I absolutely adore Henry Winkler. He is simply an amazing story teller, and he has a lot of stories to tell.
Loved him ever since i first saw the Fonz when happy days came out. What a wonderful character the Fonz was, what a great actor and human being Henry Winkler is!

Henry was brilliant in Click and the Waterboy. One of my favourites from Adam is Reign Over Me. that balcony scene after court gets me every time. i'm sure Adam copied Fonzie on that turn back move too;)

Love Henry Winkler! You know what I love about the Fonz? He was a cool guy maybe had some crime or some mistakes in his backstory but in the actual show, Happy Days, they writers knew he was a role model so they also made him care about things like staying in school and not fighting and other great messages but from a perspective of someone who had learned from their mistakes. At least until he jumped the shark but we got a great expression out of that (it has lasted like 50 years or somethin?) The Fonz is still loved by all. The character was well written and expertly played by Mr. Winkler.

Waterboy was like enlightenment for me I ended up watching it with my little three daughters, every single day for over a year.
I think Adam sees a lot of his dad in Henry. You can see how much he lights up being around him. Friendship is one of the best things about humanity.
