I had an intricate turtle to cut and weed for an orange dress I'm wearing on my Honeymoon Beach trip the honeymoon is 2 years delayed due to my liver transplant then 11 months later on my first anniversary I had a kidney transplant so now I have authority to travel and we're finally going to celebrate the turtle first cut the normal way was taking forever and I couldn't even see the cut lines once I saw your video I used another piece of vinyl and it came out 100% perfect thank you

I hate weeding permanent vinyl (and almost never use adhesive vinyl because of it). I wish I had tips....

No because adhesive vinyl doesn't have the carrier sheet on it to keep all the pieces together....
Where did you get the book that tells you what temperature and how long for desired shirts?
It came from Poli-Tape.
Is there a way you can pick up what's on the cutting board and use it as well?
I have tried a few methods (laying transfer tape on the mat first, ironing directly onto a shirt from the mat) with mixed and mostly bad results unfortunately...
Does this only work with HTV or also regular vinyl??
I have not tried it with adhesive vinyl yet.
Hello! I am trying to cut some intricate designs similar to this one here, however I keep running into a problem where my cricut keeps messing up the cut. My machine is tearing or dragging through my material. I have tried alot of troubleshooting steps however, still when it comes to small letters or numbers even, this happens. I was wondering if you have ran into this issue and how you may have been able to solve the problem? I really appreciate your advise. Thanks. -Chris
Hi! My best advice is to make sure you are using a new/sharp blade! I hope that helps.
What is the carrier sheet ? Sorry I am new to cricut 😊
It is a clear sheet that is attached to the HTV.
I’m missing something? How is this any different? Is it only the setting?
Yes, instead of cutting it on the HTV setting and then weeding out the cut pieces, you overcut it using the glitter cardstock setting which cuts all the way through the carrier sheet leaving all the weeded pieces on the mat...no weeding!

Do you still place permanent vinyl face down?
HTV yes, permanent vinyl No.
You have to take off the backing right? I looked at both your videos on this and I didn't see you do that part.
Do you mean the carrier sheet? If so, yes, that comes off when you press the design.
Where can I find the Beast mandala you used??
I got it on Etsy. Search for "Beauty and the Beast mandala"
Is there an easy way to clean the mat?
I just use a big scraper and it comes right off.
This didn't work for me :( I realized the pieces in my Zentangle sewing machine design were not attached.
Aww bummer! Yes, unfortunately it only works if the design is all connected.
