There is actually a difference with the voting between Season 1 & 2. Season 1: If they voted to leave, the money would go to the relatives of those who died. Whereas the survivors would be allowed to leave, but given the chance to come back. Season 2: This time, if they voted to leave, the current amount of prize money would be evenly divided amongst the survivors. This will cause a rift between the players as not all players owe the same amount of money in their debts. Some will definitely want to keep playing to get more money, whereas those who do have enough will want to leave.
@the_realmkc4452 Well, is not that important to remember ut or not. It does help to create some tension, but if they were to vote to leave, patch or not, it'd be most likely the same outcome as they'd see how miserable their lives are.
Honestly, I'm surprised that the size of certain peoples' debts isn't brought up more in the season. Player 100 has a 10 Billion Won debt - 452 players need to be dead before he can even pay off his debt, let alone get any spending money. No wonder he's leading the charge to stay, but he's so clearly biased that no one should be listening to him.
Honestly, this voting system seems perfectly tailored to try and break Gi-hun’s resolve and belief in people. Which, we actually begin to see in Episode 7, as he’s willing to let others be killed to further his goals. In contrast, in Episode 3 he did everything he could to save as many lives as possible.
honestly this is the first time i hear someone talk about No-eul actually giving up on her daughter and getting recruited into the game because she has nothing else to live for, i never thought of it that way and it makes a lot of sense BTW Gi-hun going back to help the guy in Red Light Green Light was actually a callback to the first season, during that game Gi-Hun was paralyzed on the floor after the massacre and when he gets up to start running a guy grabs his leg and asks him for help, and Gu-hun just shakes him off and starts running, so maybe he was carrying that guilt and decided to help this time
Seriously, and the old woman slowly just seeing her as a person even inviting her to her house is just so freaking wholesome. it felt real I related to this trans character when I usually just feel it's forced. I suffer from body dysmorphia so this character really represented me and to also just be a complex character who isn't just perfect and is actually complex is so fresh.
30:00 that was the little girl's dad, who she (the bunny) gave a lollipop to - for context the little girl has cancer and he's here to fund her treatment

Gong Yoo is such an amazing actor.. "The Recruiter / The Salesman" In the Russian roulette scene he have two different emotions on his face. Left side, he is bold, in control, his eye is normal.. Right side, his eyes are big, he is terrified, uncertain what is going to happen with him.. So fucking good.
Here’s an interesting easter egg about the roulette game between the recruiter and Player 456. If you pause the video at the 14:27 mark, you’ll notice how his face reveals two contrasting sides of his personality. Cover the middle-right side of his face with your hand, and you’ll see his proud, careless, and psychotic side, highlighted by a flashing red light, creating a demonic-like image. Now, cover the middle-left side, and you’ll see his scared and defeated side, emphasized by a cold blue light, reflecting his fear and hesitation. It’s such a brilliant detail-I absolutely loved it!
It’s so true unbelievable scene and such a good actor, when I saw that cut it blew my mind how he just fully cut his face in half with one so cocky and the other so scared, unbelievable!🤯🫨
Episode 1 of season 2 is so dang good. The acting of both the recruiter and all 3 other people who play Russian Roulette with is SO good, especially Gi-Hun and the recruiter. Both play the game to it's conclusion for their own reason, 1 to prove that he's not a greedy killer like the rest, and 1 to prove that he's not just a lap dog following orders. He's doing it because he truly loves what he does. Yes, we knew Gi-Hun was going to win, but the scene was still so damn good! Even with the other 2 guys it was awesome, because it starts out slow and easy, but then he changed the gun and sped up the game, increasing the odds that someone would panic and make a mistake, in this case throwing 2 of the same thing. The whole point of Rock, Paper, Scissors -1 is to throw 2 different things, since between the 2, you can always either win or draw. If you throw 2 of the same, and they throw 2 different things, you are guaranteed to either lose or draw.

So the calluses on the guy's hands are 100% from the actor working out in the gym. It's SUPER common to develop calluses exactly like those when you're picking up heavy barbells and dumbbells.
There's a reason researchers in the psychology field like me are required to have our insentives for joining studies screened. People make connections who want to leave but then choose to stay and they die and they feel responsible, does it always change how they feel? I think the “they know what they’re in for” argument worked in season 1 where they all chose to come back knowing the risk, but I think the Front Man would have a stronger argument if he told people…you die if you lose..and they still picked to come. It would be interesting to know the difference between who would opt out upon hearing that in foresight, vs being thrust into the surprise and then being like “well I had the experience of surviving that first game..maybe I can continue”. Absolutely love Squid Game. Second seasons usually are filler seasons for another season or a general continuation that isn't as good as season 1 but I cannot say the same for Squid Game season 2. The second season is just as brilliant as the first.
Exactly like after Avengers Infinity War we got Captain Marvel and Antman & the Wasp those were filler to set up their appearances in Endgame Spider-Verse 1 was AWESOME IT WAS FAN FUCKING TASTIC and then Spider-Verse 2 was great but it didn’t have a satisfying ending like the first one and it’s not as good as the first one. The people who say it’s better than the first one are on crack. We need Endgame and Spider-Verse 3 to fully make us the audience satisfied
They are also making a bunch of spin offs. I guess they’re called. There’s a squid game USA there’s a squid game’s world then the first squid games and then the frontmans squid games in the works.

I'm removing you from my recommendations. You and RGT 85 should talk.
Edit: I'm also reporting the video for misleading
Why can I only watch 360p or pay for 1080p high bit rate 😢
When will you continue Peaky Blinders? Didn't you like it?
Thanos is my favorite character. He's so much fun to watch
31:21 there’s the famous one liner
29:40 this is the first kdrama I've seen the actor playing the trans player in as a good person I've seen him as a bad guy in two other series.
k movie king and clown
I love your curly hair Nat lol.
So no penguin ig
I just realized you could watch Cobra Kai. It's fun.
lol Thanos is the best character he’s a couch but I love him
Natalieee, please watch “central station” 😭🙏🙏🙏 plsss
Or “im still here”
Thanos is such a stupid and evil cartoon character, kind of crazy how much fun he is to watch. Sometimes he'll start speaking english out of the blue and it's the dumbest thing ever.
19:02 "they're just dressed up like that in public?" Natalie you're going to soon understand after reading this comment that this is a dumb question because how would anyone know what that pink jumpsuit symbolizes? 😂
Thanos would make such a good Joker
Absolutely love Squid Game. Second seasons usually are filler seasons for another season or a general continuation that isn't as good as season 1 but I cannot say the same for Squid Game season 2. The second season is just as brilliant as the first.
Exactly like after Avengers Infinity War we got Captain Marvel and Antman & the Wasp those were filler to set up their appearances in Endgame
Spider-Verse 1 was AWESOME IT WAS FAN FUCKING TASTIC
and then Spider-Verse 2 was great but it didn’t have a satisfying ending like the first one and it’s not as good as the first one. The people who say it’s better than the first one are on crack. We need Endgame and Spider-Verse 3 to fully make us the audience satisfied
Severance!!!
They are also making a bunch of spin offs. I guess they’re called. There’s a squid game USA there’s a squid game’s world then the first squid games and then the frontmans squid games in the works.
frontman zero is storm shadow.
You should react to Alice In Borderland! It’s similar to squid game so if you like that, you’ll like Alice in borderland
29:42 SHE IIISSSS pure fire fr my favorite character in this season 🤞🏻
