every single one of these have a reason for existing. none of them are "weird" theyre actually fully expected on a games design stand point. ill explain each one here: Bridge = water: No, the waterfall is water. In MK8 and MK8D when you fall in water (or in this case, drive into it) you're taken out of bounds. as such, anything behind or below the water is also out of bounds, and is treated as if it doesn't exist to prevent any unforeseen side effects or glitches. as such, you go straight through the bridge. stuff like this also happened in the base game. Slide on pipe: honestly im not seeing anything odd here, the pipe is an area you are not meant to be on so the game pushes you off of it. again, the base game did stuff like this too. tho the clip you did once you fell off of it was weird. go through koopa: the koopa has no hitbox to save recourses, and they never have and probably never will. this isn't a wave 4 thing. water vent not working: honestly dont know why this is here either; you're between the bubbles. drive on nothing?: this is also standard in games design, you're driving on a part of the hitbox that was added to prevent you from falling in that hole next to the ramp and getting stuck. weird hitboxes: normal hitboxes... stairs are always like that in games, as it allows you to actually drive up them. else every step would become a short wall, stopping you from being able to climb up them. base game did this too, in fact, every game with stairs does this. im not pressing a here: the half-pipe gives you a slight push, dont know why but it does. you being pushed up, combined with you building a small amount of speed when falling down, is causing you to move like that. notice how it stopped when it was at an angle, because the half-pipe only sends you up and down, not inwards and outwards. yoshi mega jump: the wall there is slightly curved so you basically used it like a very steep ramp, launching you upwards. i don't know what happened here: you built up speed, so much so that the wall slowing you down wasnt enough to stop it. because you built up so much momentum going towards the finish line, you hopping causes you to hop in that direction, not towards the wall. mud shortcut but not mud: this shortcut has always existed since DD, it was in Wii too.
Wow that's a lot of typing.... I'm aware how everything works but I wanted to include these in a video because I found a bunch of strange stuffs like this in Wave 4. I appreciate the time in writing that comment though it must have taken a while!

@@MeMyselfI__ That is not a glitch this is how the game work, all course obsticle will not hurt you if you are motionless, and that even happen on Mario kart Wii, and that is how you don't get penalize for 3 star in Mario kart Wii grand prix. In Mario Kart 8 deluxe grand prix is strickly the over all score you receive in grand prix, and not a hidden score like mario kart Wii.

But yeah I do agree with that it's kinda dumb to be honest.

I know, I was basically trying to say the hitbox is kinda strange on it and you don't fly up wherever on it.
I think a lot of moving objects like cars and the fire are are based on momentum so if your not moving they won’t affect you.

I love buggy games :) So much fun to mess around in them and glitch hunt. They mostly did a good job though for the MK8DX DLC though!

You have to be going a certain speed for the water vents to work
It's in specific spots that it doesn't work, I've tested if you go really slow it still does work, just like the water pipes :)
