    • @hardcorebarbell
      @hardcorebarbell 27 дней назад +7

Learning something or picking it up after soo many years isn't imitation it's an expression of a learned behavior.
      The literal definition is
      verb
take or follow as a model.
"his style was imitated by many other writers"
      Similar:
      emulate
      copy
      take as a model
      model oneself on
      take as a pattern
      pattern oneself on/after
      follow the example of
      take as an example
      take as a role model
      take after
      follow
      echo
      parrot
      follow suit
      rip off
copy (a person's speech or mannerisms), especially for comic effect.
      "she imitated my Scottish accent"
Imitation is intentional, Auden is being himself which happens to be like the man that raised him. It doesn't mean he's trying to imitate him.

He runs a business, still does normal strongman exercises, podcasts, etc. He’s not like Devon who eats, sleeps, and shits armwrestling. Brian probably averages 3-5 hours per week of armwrestling. If he does a bunch of tourneys in US after the fight with Eddie, with a handful of supermatches he'll be well on his way to featuring on an EvW card. When Brian competes against him, he will be much stronger and heavier then Levan. It’s terrifying to think once he gets a real good at the technique. If you are taller longer arms and have wide shoulders you can put more pressure and leverage on your opponent at the table. We've really never seen a guy quite like brian in the sport. Thats why its so exciting. He has every piece of the puzzle. There are guys who have a few and not all. There are guys who have the height like Vitaly and guys who have the bone structure like denis. I love that Brian keeps poking at Devon that not only is he going to be 300 lb but that, no no you're going to get these crowns. That's going to happen that's happening. How will you feel if you do? He speaking about it like as if it's already going to happen no matter what. And you can just see Devin kind of go blank with almost amazement and appreciation for the World's Strongest Man telling him that he will achieve these things. This also must be a big treat for Devin to have one of his strength Idols talk to him like this. I definitely want to ask him in his next live what he felt when Brian was saying those things to him.

It's going to be amazing to see what Brian can become in the sport. His potential is next level. Being how amazing we've seen people like John and toddzilla do into their mid 50s to early 60s tells me Brian is far from starting too late. In 10 years he'll be relatively young and have all the experience necessary to be the best in the world mixed with the baseline power beyond anything anyone else has ever started with.

@blackops9572 for sure. People forget how much your body weight hanging on their arm adds. They are having to fight the strength and weight. Even the kings move is harder to beat when heavy. Thats why levan weight is such a benefit to him. But he is willing to push hard enough to do it! He gained like 150 pounds in several years

    • @Me-wk7dz

I think Devon can remain elite past 60. John is clinging on to his elite status @ 60, and todd hutchings is killing it too -- yet neither are as dedicated to the medical side of things like Devon. Aging does happen in spurts, one of which being around the age of 60, so Devon will have to contend with that but I think he can remain elite.
