My thoughts (not that it matters), but with the introduction of Ed and especially Brian into the sport will take Armwrestling to the next level. What i mean with that is in terms of training, nutrition, recovery. Brian is like a scientist when it comes to looking at all the aspects of strength, and can see hes already started with the 3d printed hands in diff positions, his hand cooling device etc. I can see it driving others in the sport to take same approach especially if Brian comes into his next few matches and keeps winning

Longtime American Football fan, boxing and mma fan who became a Strongman fan when Magnus ver Magnuson was dominating at WSM. Brian Shaw has become my favorite athlete, Eddie isn't that far behind. Initially I wanted to see Brian and Eddie in MMA, now, not so much. They are just too big. How many opponents could they even round up in an MMA career? How long before Brian or Eddie accidentally just breaks someone? Arm wrestling seems like the perfect sport for these guys to get into from Strongman. I mean, it could be an event at the SMOE. It is a strength event afterall... yes, with a lot of skill involved. Perfect for Brian Shaw. Maybe perfect for Eddie as well. Eddie should also find that grizzled old English Sumo coach and win the championship in that as well. That would be epic!

I've been fan of Brian Shaw for years, and he is my favorite WSM all-time, but I said it right from the beginning that people were overlooking Eddie and that that was a huge mistake. People get so focused on Brian's prowess as a strongman that they tend to forget that Eddie is one of the strongest men to ever live, and he is athletic on top of that. All in all, I think Eddie has more natural ability to pick things up than Brian does. He proved it during that match. I gained a lot of respect for Eddie after seeing how well he adapted against one of the greatest strongmen to ever live. Well done, mate.
