Why is qaf in palestinian arabic sounds like ain?
I think it is not pronounced at all. Ain is very distinctive. An other instance I 've seen is qalb (heart), pronounced as alb in levantine arabic.
It seems that it's because of the dialect. Written and pronunciation is different unlike Modern Standard Arabic and Quranic Arabic where you pronounce exactly like it's written
