The space in Rajdhani first AC is huge compared to this sleeper train which looks congested, even the passage outside the coupe is very narrow. The interior design is awesome and the attached washroom is great. Overall facilities are top quality.
Its because of the narrower gauge that British rail uses. India uses broad gauge.

Yaa but as our economy grows we can afford to make more premium trains like these.. but I think this train has more better interiors than even bullet trains..

Glad that you covered it! My favourite train in the UK and going to my favourite city in the UK, Edinburgh! I also took the club cabin, and I was the only person in that room. It was lovely and a very comfortable journey. However, I did not like 2 things - 1. the food options were not much, 2. the passageway was very narrow. Although that's because of the British rail gauge. My personal favourite European sleeper train will always be Finnish Railways' Lapland Express. The second best is OBB Nightjet.

But to be fair, I think the Indian First Class coaches are much better than Caledonian sleeper class.
The space in Indian coaches is huge while these coaches looked very congested.
The meals served in Indian coaches is also very fulfilling.

People can't afford a train with the world class amenities, this could be done after 50 60 years, but not rn
@@eddy18457 frankly speaking most of the world passenger railways is always subsidised by the profits of the freight goods.. and these private companies that runs those trains also gets incentivised by the govt.

50-60 years is quite outstretched.. but I’m sure that by 2028-2030 timeframe we will see quite some major changes with how railways function and have many world class stations coming up..

We traveled from edinburgh to London by NLER azure train.it took just 4 hours 40 minutes.cruising speed was 200 kmph,and as it was day time,it was fabulous landscapes to see.we,3 pax, paid over 200 £ for seating.wifi was great.but we missed indian flavour of ' chai garam','cutlets','biryani'.that constant flow of peddlers,pass holders,constables but traveling by such trains gives feel of flight.which traveling you like,indian or uk?i liked uk traveling (road or train).

Train is running so smoothly.. No one can figure out that you are in train. Its pin drop silence. Our indian Railways shud also implement this system. In india, when we go to our birth, it feels so scary by the continous movement of the coach. There are lot to rectify in our indian railways.
