This is a how to on replacing a window motor and regulator on a 2000 Dodge Dakota. This same procedure works for many other cars with this same window style.

Alas, my window carriage bracket is slightly different. The guide rails seemed to be the issue. Catching the glass and pulling it out of the carriage and dropping the window.

My 04 Dakota Slt decided the front driver side window and the rear passenger side window assembly’s were crap. Both assemblies broke without being able to hold the window up two days apart. I am now driving around with two windows completely open. Thanks dodge before stalantis for making a great truck but failing to use quality parts for the widnows

My 2004 Dakota driver side window could not roll up on the way and it goes very slowly. It can be rolled down. What is the potential issue? Thanks for your help.

Im putti. Cable back around pullys but i cant get motor back to spot .cables stopping it 2in away

My 2003 Dodge Dakota quad cab none of the windows go up and down

It could be the switch as the drivers switch is what controls all the windows. Also if the window lock is on it will not allow any windows to go up or down.
