As a professional Allergic Rhinitis and Non-Allergic Rhinitis sufferer, I found this very timely as I am starting allergy shots this week! I love your content. I learned a few new things. Thanks!
Most welcome! We're glad you learned something new from our video, Melissa! 😊
What are your symptoms?
@@wolowizard5487 congestion, lots (and I mean LOTS) of drainage into my throat and lungs so I have to clear my throat and cough all the time, itchy eyes, random hives, asthma, headaches, chronic sinus infections, and... I guess I ran out of symptoms. Lol
I used to get some relief in the summer, with no allergies, but it seems like they last all year now.
I have itchy eyes, my ear feels clogged, my sense of smell is a little off and I always feel tired. My nose also feels congested at time, really dry but congested and when I do have discharge it’s clear white liquid. Could this be allergic rhinitis?
@@basoomylicious0298 you are describing my symptoms! The clogged ears, congestion, itchy eyes, etc. It's like you have a cold ALWAYS!
I take Zyrtec (the generic for it, cetirizine) once a day, spring to fall. It seems to work the best for me, even though I'm still constantly congested. You could give a daily antihistamine a try and see if it helps your symptoms.
My allergies are SO bad this year it’s insane. It was about time I learned how it works
im dying right now, unbelievable.
@@mmommo-hx4dx I literally bled from nose last night due to the excessive sneezing
same,ridiculous
I am having anal bleeding
I get nasal congestion and start sneezing and I also can’t sleep. I need nasal spray, I don’t want it to become severe but whenever it’s spring it just happens
1. Use saline nasal drops to clear the nasal passages.
2. Take a decongestant medication to reduce congestion and inflammation.
3. Apply a warm compress over the nose and sinuses to relieve discomfort.
4. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids to help thin out mucus.
5. Avoid allergens and irritants that may trigger rhinitis symptoms.
Permanent treatment..?

Tried all that no split
Hahahaha, you clearly don't have this condition.
Use SinuSoothe Natural Nasal Spray if you suffer from sinus allergies. It was created by two sinus sufferers because the medical 'experts' couldn't help them. Don't take our word for it - read on-line reviews. It has already helped countless sinus allergy sufferers and is well worth trying. And if it doesn't work we will give you a full refund.
I hated it when I got one. I always sneeze non-stop, I can't open my eyes especially with strong lights, I want to scratch briskly inside of my nose and it's embarrassing to other people
Same here bro.... And it occurred 4 times a week
How many times you sneeze in a row?
I was in a tim Hortons ordering a coffee and it just hit me like a brick. The girl thought I started crying. Lol
In my case there is something not explained in video. I have quite weak reaction to flover spores. But most of the time I have strong reaction to cold air. Every single winter for me is a constant sneeze once I am outside and it immediately stops once I am in warm room. And it was like that through all of my life. My grandmother had the same condition. Sadly every time I tell people "I have allergy to cold air" everyone laughs at me. But for me it's a real thing. And I think it should have at least partially different chemistry than described in this video.
I have the same condition to cold air, it's like when water hits my nose or face (only in the shower and cold air environment) I immediately get a sneezing fit
@@koreaLover56 ah, "I know that feel bro" (c). as you came up at this video I guess you didn't find how to get rid of it either, right? I just never leave my home without nasal tissue in my pocket and that's all.
I have the same problem

One thing that I found in your video is very detailed with info and ultimate graphics. Thanks!!

I dont know why I developed allergic rhinitis. When i was young maybe until 17/18 yo i dont have this allergy. Now im 27 and still dont know how i got this its very frustrating
Same. I got when I was 13-14. I'm 17 now and still have it. My doctor says there's no direct cure for it. All I can do is minimise the symptoms (using meds, nasal spray) when it goes extreme. Easy to say for him, but it affects my daily life and often social life (often can't go out with friends when it's triggered). I wish I could permanently get rid of it
Since pandemic started and I always stay indoor coz only online class then this allergy started. It's frustrating ughh
I'm suffering from nasal congestion for almost 3 years now and my turbinates are pale. Doctor recommends turbinate surgery but I'm scared of empty nose syndrome
Do u always have a feeling of something stuck in your throat?
@@drdoom6222 that could be post-nasal drip. Also, acid reflux also sometimes includes the feeling of something being stuck in the throat

After C0v1d I started having Rhinitis and Sinusitis, I never had any problems with that.

I did the prick test a month PLUS ago and still have the marks on my arm but the following week after the test, I experienced a bout of rhinitis attack. Felt really bad and pretty challenging to complete daily tasks. I just had another bout this week and it is just subsiding today. Probably triggered by environmental allergen like the video alluded to. Was sneezing and dripping like a broken faucet. I sneezed and blew my nose so much that I started to see blood in my tissue paper.
This is the first time I understand this topic in this amazing way, which added a lot to me. Thank you very much
Glad this video helped! 😊
nutraceuticals help a lot to reduce symptoms too : A,C,D,E

You're very welcome, Aryana! 🥰
MY GOD, I freaked out when he sneezed.
Its so informative 👌 easy yo get concept ❣️❣️
Thanks, Saeed! Glad this was able to help! 🙏🏼
What about the nasal corticosteroids' role in treatment?!
I can't speak for everyone, but my allergist swears by them and they help me most of the time. They dry my nasal cavity out though. Like a bit of overkill.
@@diyeana what is the dose
@@khkhmoh4651 my allergies are pretty severe so I use Fluticasone (Flonase) at 1 spray per nostril two times a day along with an anticholinergic, Ipratropium Bromide Nasal Solution 0.03%, 2 sprays per nostril two times a day.
It’s to prevent the inflammation from occurring basically…
Too much using make u nosebleed
but me, sometimes my nose got so itchy until my ear also got itchy inside, on 1 side only
I grew up on a farm, and I got that when I was 19 when I was in a Coast City
Thanks for the great content and love the animation as always.

I've had a constant runny nose with clear liquid every day all day ever since I was like 15 or something. Being a kid I thought it was normal but it's not. I'm going on 34 now and I still don't know what causes it. I've never talked to the doctor about it. I just found this rhinitis other day but it doesn't sound right. I just have constant runny nose and some congestion but my sense of smell is good. People look at me blowing my nose all day like it's something I want to do when it's not. I blow when I need to blow and it's a real medical condition.
You probably have allergic rhinitis. You should consult an ent and get started on medication and get it figured out.
Hii ,Did you get treated for this

Hi! I'm 35 and suffer from allergic rhinitis since teenage years. I find Avamys more effective than taking antihistamine or cetirizine. :)
@@prachibarman5524 is this joke to

upper part of my mouth is having inflammation or irritated.. i don't know why, and it causes runny nose and clogged nose sometimes.. i wonder if it is because of rhinitis..
Yeah, I have this problem too along with rhinitis so yes, it's due to allergy. I suggest not touch that part with your tongue. It goes away after a few minutes if you leave it untouched

@@Exlaty The video said genetics and lack of exposure to farm can cause this allergic rhinitis.
But none of my family members have this and I grew up in a village, we had 20-25 cows, i lived in village for 1st 14 years of my life.
So clearly neither genetic or environmental stuff is true for me.
Then how the hell did i get this problem 4 years after moving to city.
@@Exlaty Allergy shots didn't work for me.
There's 2 meds which work only for 1 day.
I gotta take them at least 5 days a week.
If i don't take them then the next day I get constant runny nose, sneezing, throat pain, problem to breathe, hard to do anything.
And If i do take meds then those above problems don't show but i get to face new problem like sleeping for 10-12 hours and even after that feeling sleepy the whole day after waking up so it not only reduces my daytime also stops me from doing anything productive.
So either way I'm fucked.

Everything in the video is great info but the avoidance advice is really poor advice as avoidance is impossible . Try avoiding oxygen and see how well that goes for you. The only solution is allergy sublingual treatment , not as a last resort but as a first resort!!!! I ought to know I was an extreme sufferer of this and now am cured
