The most forward backward idea I think I have seen yet. It's very cool and awesome. You should charge people to ride it on a track or something, maybe during a fair. Cause I know would pay to ride it.
We've gone full circle from training biological machines, to creating dumb mechanical machines, to making those machines smart/versatile enough that we can pretty much just train them, and eventually I'd expect biological machines to take over again once our machines become tiny and self repairable.
That was amazing! So glad i found this channel. It would be amazing if you can make it take you home without any inputs. You can even do a bit where you stumble out of a bar and have it take you home. (Obviously dont drink though haha)
Ha! You’re about 200 miles north of me. I didn’t realize the Amish got that far north! Ontario looks a lot like Ohio in the summer-good to see in these cloudy, gray February days.
Would replacing animal labour with robots be a partial solution to some concerns about animal welfare? Interesting competition here, it's a wonder these aren't mass produced actually, robot horses for transport, Also brings up an ethical issue, at what point does this become cruel to robots to slave labour them? People will argue it's cruel to use horses like this, but I wonder at what point do they have equal empathy for robots too? (Btw I'm not joking, I'm genuinely wondering if at some point robots will be advanced enough for people to have genuine concern for them as non organic lifeforms, or even if particularly organic if they start using living cells to make them)
I think it's really sweet the Amish were willing to help with your robotics project
There is a crazy sense of community around here. If someone can't help you, they know someone who can!
i think youve idenitified a gap in the market: the robot horse!
For sure, add the "go home" feature. Loved this video. Fun and educational!

6:08 I was not prepared
Needs a tail! Not a REAL robot horse without a tail! LOL!
Damn. I knew I was forgetting something!
What I missed you at Millbank Hardware!! Nice project and video!
Very cool and the kids looked impressed!
Go home feature definitely needed.
Fantastic video! Great editing! I wanna see Danny get programmed to go home lol!

Great video! 🐴🤖
please try and add the go home feature!
Awesome robot horse!

Technically not drinking and driving if the horse takes you home!
[1:49] This got me laughing lmao
Luckily the arm survived!
Thank you for the video. You're very talented and entertaining at the same time. I just wonder if you can make that Danny run instead of just walking?
Yes and no. The hardware is capable of going faster, but the robot is over 100 lbs, making it dangerous to do so. Maybe one day

Yeah, lots around here!
Please partner with James Burton and make a full-scale robohorse
That would be awesome!
How and when could we get a buggy calendar?
Thanks for showing us the old and the new at the same time!
I'll see if Doug can make some extras!
Love it.
You could add a feature to increase the speed by pulling both sides of the rope for an instant.
Thought about this using electric bicycles as horses
you're back!
Finally! Had a light summer. Lots of plans in the works now 🤠
You're a roboquestrian.
The first in the family!
Who needs a car? 😂
Cars are becoming robots on wheels.
that must be so terrifying to for the horse. imagine a severed human head on a robots body and it's telling you that it's a human
Apples and Danny were buds!
Possible My Little Pony cinematic universe trailer
Danny really needs a nice tail
Agreed. I tried, but it looked super weird
Can we appreciate the fact that Dave potentially "ponied up" $100k for this robot horse?
This one isn't mine. I was working on some consulting with it, so I took it for a spin
make the thingy !!!!!!!
Hey new to this channel how did he afford a 100,000 dollar robot? It awsome he did but I’m just curious
That one was on load while I was doing some software consulting. Had to give it back

Now, how about one you ride on, without a chariot?
The B2 might be able to carry me, but the B1 can't handle my heft 😬
@@DavesArmoury Can it walk while carrying you?
And what does it cost ?
I think the B1 is around $80k, with plans for that cost to drop, but I'm just a tech guy
