- Nikola Jokic hit a 39 foot three-pointer with time expiring to lift the Denver Nuggets over the Golden State Warriors, 130-127. The Nuggets finished the final 6:34 on a 25-4 run to complete the comeback. Jokic recorded 34 points (13-16 FG), 9 rebounds and 10 assists for the Nuggets, while Aaron Gordon added a season-high 30 points, along with 9 rebounds in the victory. Stephen Curry tallied 30 points (5-12 3pt. FG) and 6 assists for the Warriors. The Nuggets have won back-to-back games as they improve to 25-11 on the season, while the Warriors fall to 16-18.

it's a team effort lead by Jokic. Jokic lead finding gordon and watsons open. if Gordon or others wasn't good enough, no assist credited to Jokic so it is a team effort after all. Composure to every players staying ready. making the right read/right play. on the other hand, Warriors panicked when Nuggets starts to get closer. Turnovers, Jacking up wild 3s.
Watching this final stretch, I couldn't help but appreciate the impact Aaron Gordon made on both ends of the floor, whether it was drawing fouls on offense or making a key pass or on defense when defending Curry 1-on-1 on the perimeter or just forcing the Warriors to take more low percentage shots. It's also amazing just because of what kind of injury he just had and how this was just his 2nd game back.
I never really appreciated just how agile he is defending on the perimeter. Really impressive

Jokic gets the ball at the pick and roll from Murray - Murray knows exactly where to put the ball so that’s it’s not clogged in the lane. The second Jokic catches it, he knows KCPs defender is cheating off him to guard the floater so Jokic has three options - himself, Gordon, and KCP. Jokic sees in a millisecond that Gordon’s defender is coming off to Guard Jokic in the paint, fakes the floater to keep the defender off guard, and turns the shot into an easy lob to Aaron Gordon.

It was like having a flashback of the critical errors and bricks of the closing minutes in the 2016 NBA finals. But man, there were a lot of missed shots here from Curry and his team that they normally make in pressure situations. Kudos to Denver's D.

But as seasons went by he did stamp himself as the best shooter ever. There are just moments like this that leave me dumbfounded on how it can happen to the shooting goat.

I find it funny how the Warriors, Lakers, and Suns are the three Western teams that go through alternating periods of hope and trauma.
