Mostly for the mud, the rad takes way less abuse up on the rack, we used to overheat because of plugged rads quite a bit before we all relocated our rads
It blows my mind that they still run.. Driving a Honda 4x4 I would NEVER dream of doing anything so crazy.. amazing.. amazing machines that they can hold up to this sort of "fun"
We have had almost zero wiring issues with our Canams and the new QE visco is light years ahead of the previous versions, no levers to hold on to, just full 4wd when you need it. We don't get to ride with enough properly set up Brutes
@Aaronfx4 Nope no restrictions, lifting with stock axles hurts durability. We ride back in the bush not in offroad parks like in the states and durability is very important, no one wants to be stuck out in the bush
It will be a very light bike that will float easily and be tough to handle in the deep stuff, but if you get it setup properly with a good set of snorkels then give it a shot, only 1 way to know for sure
If it's enough to stall out your motor you have to drag the machine to dry ground and unswamp it, basically drain motor, airbox and exhaust and try to refire
You guys are crazy. I wouldn't do that if someone paid me too. I can' believe you nutcases made it through that quagmire, I'm impressed with you lunitics. If there was a squadran of nympho cheerleaders at the end of the trail, maybe I'd go, maybe.
@slapoutz The X-MR is a bid machine, way bigger then the 650 Cat, it's on a max chasis so it's longer and with the 30" tires it sits high, that being said there isn't a more capable bike on the market period!!! And it rides great, you will be able to gop places none of your friends can!!
Tires? We love the Highlifter Outlaws, best muskeg tire for our terrain. A bunch of us are runnin the new 29.5" Ouitlaw 2 this season...can't wait to test them out
LMAO, I was behind the camera....then I set the camera down and drove through this hole while water wheeling and high fiveing everyone on the way by...you shoulda been there...lol
@xXcanamXmanXx For me personally I like the shorter wheel base, easier to wheely and funner to rip on. For a stock bike there's nothing better then the X-mr, and full warranty makes it an excellent choice also
I am riding the 2012 1000 XT at 7:48 with the devil snork's. We had one day from crate to get it sealed up and test it for the ride. Bone stock clutching. Ir performed great. Hence Osta sold his 10' and bought a 12' 1000 XT!
Same way a snorkel works that you swim with. It just raises your air intake up so when you're in deep water the motor can breathe air and not water...lol
@tree1996redneck They are impressive work machines, 240lbs rear rack, 120lbs front rack, and 1300lbs towing, that's better then some utility side by side vehicles. They will work circles around the competition
cool man, ya different strokes for different folks...it's what makes the world go round....but that would be the day I go and leave a bunch of unintellegent comments bashing guys riding on dry trails...lol(not my cup of tea) but others live for it...to each their own....just get out and ride
It all depends what you want, the X-mr is great outta the box but it's on the extended max chasis, so people love the longer chasis and some hate it. Have you ridden one? Try and see if you like it, if not but the XT and build it up exactly how you want
ok cool im looking into upgrading my tires i was looking at mud bitch, silverbacks, or black widows and didnt know what u guys were running but thanks again and good muddin
@MrGrggrg You will need to run some spring spacers at minimum, also it's going to be tight with no aftermarket off set wheels, could try it then upgrade to aftermarket rims or wheel spacer later
How old is your Canam? All important electrical systems have rubber boots over time these can crack and shrink letting in water, always clean your machine after a ride as wet mud and grass can stay wet for days and corrode things, we also take every connection apart and di-electric grease them to further gaurd against water getting where it shouldn't be. If you're going to be riding deep water you must prepare for it and do extra maintanance on your machine to keep everything working correctly
love the videos keep it up...i think i have watch all of them.. i show all the guys at work yalls videos they think yall are crazy keep them coming JMc
@ready2goriding water to keep the machines down? Sometimes the water gets too deep and you have to bail off and let your machine float up to keep from swamping
I have had 2 ATVs, I love my Grizzly 700 but have had a Can Am before, Visco Lock works and it works well. My next bike will be a Can Am again. 2013 800 Outy with DPS. Locking the diff makes it hard to handle when bouncing up steep rocky climbs.
Osta, can U imagine what the PPSM ride will be like this year? How about 30 1000 Can-Am's all with snorks, 29.5" or bigger tires, rad's stacked and well, what's 30 X 85 HP? Like 2500 HP! on one ride. Going to be insane! I cannot wait!
you can go until the water is touching the plastic above your tires, thats where u should still be safe.bigger problem is letting of the gas if your exhaust goes under water because it does not have enough back pressure to keep pushing the water out.even if you do drown it its easy to fix since its a carburated honda.just drain the airbox, lift the front and then fire it up after the air filter is dry.also change the oil if it drowns. sorry for being so technical on you
And this trail last year had almost no water on it. It's actually a high spot between two lakes. Sort of a ridge area. We have had insane precipatation the last few years!
What size PoPo? I had a 500 and no trouble but single cylinders are always more prone to stalling in water, less rotating mass then a twin maybe....the 700, 800 or 850 will not need an exhaust snorkel
A few of our group have tried them and broke alot of parts...the 32.5"s are 70+lbs per tire...lol, plus your rim....They're coming out with a Mamba light in a few weeks....should be a great tire if they can drop some serious weight
This is a PPSM VIC ride.... We go hard. This trail, believe it or not is a ridge. A high spot between two lakes kinda. Four years ago, there was NO water here. It rained for the next four years and walla, U have a perfect PPSM trail. Then a PLOW wind came thru and crushed the landscape two weeks before our ride. A few chain saws and some sweat and the trail was cleared. Not a lot of people ride this route. I haven't been on it since last year.
It took me a while to get this one uploaded, over 770 megs. I usually don't take long vids but the action just kept on coming....lol. Remeber to thumbs up, favorite and subscribe to my channel for more great ATV action!!!!
@mikiebabie 2" Snorkel is all that's needed unless you were trunning a bored throttle body of something, stock intake is no bigger or maybe smaller...lol
thanks for answering ! sorry , my english is not perfect ! my can-am is brand new ! 600 km / 7 mounts old ... i'm going to get the new outlander 1000 MAX when it's gonna come out i'm gonna grease also the connections. thanks a lot !
Hey you should have went to the Rama quad rally this past saturday, it was pretty fuckin sweet. Tons of water and mud holes. Everyone was friendly and lots of people. Amazing day. There's one in Wynyard this saturday, you should come check it out. I know it's a long drive but it'd be worth it for sure.
@yeagerjessiebird Almost all of the machines in this vid have had custom center snorkels installed by our dealer pinespsm.com. I have never heard of a snorkel that replaces the airbox....you need the airbox for when you pin it and need a large volume of air very quickly, with out an airbox your throttle response will suffer
Absolute beast of a machine, best machine ready to go off the showroom floor for sure
Crazy, crazy, crazy best yet, no edit, no music, just pure skeg madness. Three thumbs up
Mostly for the mud, the rad takes way less abuse up on the rack, we used to overheat because of plugged rads quite a bit before we all relocated our rads
A lot of these guys on this ride had little to no experience with water this deep. I'm sure most of them learned alot
You have to love the one guy saving his beer while he go's through that. Amazing.
Alot of us have upgraded to the new 1000 Outlanders and Renegades this year....very nice machines
28" Radial Outlaws are a great tough tire that do well everywhere and the HMF Swamp Series is built very well
It blows my mind that they still run.. Driving a Honda 4x4 I would NEVER dream of doing anything so crazy.. amazing.. amazing machines that they can hold up to this sort of "fun"
WOW, this is the deepest i've seen anyone go yet and actually make it out..
its biking trips like this that you remember forever.
Snorkels, clutching, rims and tires and you're there dude
most of us run the 29.5" Outlaws, best mud tire ever made imo
Thanks dude, glad you like them
We have had almost zero wiring issues with our Canams and the new QE visco is light years ahead of the previous versions, no levers to hold on to, just full 4wd when you need it. We don't get to ride with enough properly set up Brutes

wow! almost like quicksand that stuff. Great way to promote Can-Am products .
Thanks for checking out the video friend!!!
In my opinion yes, by a large margin, especially when running huge aggressive tires
Love the guy casually riding through with a beer
one of the best videos you made...
@slapoutz The X-MR is a bid machine, way bigger then the 650 Cat, it's on a max chasis so it's longer and with the 30" tires it sits high, that being said there isn't a more capable bike on the market period!!! And it rides great, you will be able to gop places none of your friends can!!

Almost none of us run a programmer with our slip ons, but definately needed with a full exhaust
LMAO, I was behind the camera....then I set the camera down and drove through this hole while water wheeling and high fiveing everyone on the way by...you shoulda been there...lol
They should, they fit the 500 Renegades, just need some fender trimming, after market offset rims and spring spacers
as long as your snorkels are good and water tight it can sit in the water for hours and be good to go
They come out in front of the handle bars....as long as they are above the water everything is super
these videos have convinced me to go and buy a renegade going to pick mine up this week
7:40 looks like you got at least one pro on your team! keep that beer flowing
@xXcanamXmanXx For me personally I like the shorter wheel base, easier to wheely and funner to rip on. For a stock bike there's nothing better then the X-mr, and full warranty makes it an excellent choice also
@yeagerjessiebird oh, yes, the new airbox and other assortted pieces you need, it's a great kit and still retains a somewhat stock look
It just raises your air intake up so when you're in deep water the motor can breathe air and not water...lol
yes you can, it doesn't always work but it's worth a shot
I have 30" silverbacks in 14X9F and 14X11R. Love them. The only tire other than OL's that I would have.
@cdykun There is a huge difference the QE is almost instant where the prior viscos required several wheel spins to lock the 4 wheel
@tree1996redneck They are impressive work machines, 240lbs rear rack, 120lbs front rack, and 1300lbs towing, that's better then some utility side by side vehicles. They will work circles around the competition
Height wise yes for sure, you may need to run wheel spacers for clearance for width
cool man, ya different strokes for different folks...it's what makes the world go round....but that would be the day I go and leave a bunch of unintellegent comments bashing guys riding on dry trails...lol(not my cup of tea) but others live for it...to each their own....just get out and ride
@chucker73 Good eye, he was running the 29.5" Terminators, A decent tire in all riding situations
Rad relocate is to keep alot of mud and crap out of your rad, snorkels are for deep water
It all depends what you want, the X-mr is great outta the box but it's on the extended max chasis, so people love the longer chasis and some hate it. Have you ridden one? Try and see if you like it, if not but the XT and build it up exactly how you want
są super .jezdże też atv ale takich gości jeszcze nie widziałem .super ,super
ok cool im looking into upgrading my tires i was looking at mud bitch, silverbacks, or black widows and didnt know what u guys were running but thanks again and good muddin
nice hole, nice bikes. Damn i miss my outty 800
Wicked bog! Nice snorkel systems!
this looks like it was fun i never been in this kind of mud but once i get snorkels i will venture in
@MrGrggrg You will need to run some spring spacers at minimum, also it's going to be tight with no aftermarket off set wheels, could try it then upgrade to aftermarket rims or wheel spacer later
People that complain about this video are jealous because they can't even afford an atv. There is a reason they clicked on it in the first place
you to i guess
+mud madness Im jealous of their rides, and their terrain. But can't hate on them for any of it.
How old is your Canam? If you're going to be riding deep water you must prepare for it and do extra maintanance on your machine to keep everything working correctly
@Rocklobster003 you don't want to aim the hose right at them but a little overspray won't hurt anything
love the videos keep it up...i think i have watch all of them.. i show all the guys at work yalls videos they think yall are crazy keep them coming JMc
@ready2goriding water to keep the machines down? Sometimes the water gets too deep and you have to bail off and let your machine float up to keep from swamping
thanks to your awesome videos ostacruiser im not going to be late for work :)
I love it that looks like a fun hole... i wish i could have put mine thru that test....
For me it would be the Brute hands down...but it's up to you
@TheHickstead what?...lol....non stop fun being there
Nope, They are all sealed up very well and we take extra time and add dielectric grease to most of the connections for added insurance

@Bm89tide You bet, extend them up to the pod with enough line to loop it a couple times
you guys are nuts thats so freakin deep I love it
Another great video makes me look forwerd to getting my can am this fall no more old polaris
That's ridiculously deep. enough said
What size PoPo? I had a 500 and no trouble but single cylinders are always more prone to stalling in water, less rotating mass then a twin maybe....the 700, 800 or 850 will not need an exhaust snorkel
This looks fun as hell I would definitely take my sportsman thru this lol
A few of our group have tried them and broke alot of parts...the 32.5"s are 70+lbs per tire...lol, plus your rim....They're coming out with a Mamba light in a few weeks....should be a great tire if they can drop some serious weight
this makes me wanna get rid of my sport quad n get a can-am! yall having way too much fun
@Rocklobster003 Soon hopefully, stay tuned
@05silvy Nope, thye are great bikes. Just take care of them, do your maintenance and it will treat you good. Best quad to run big mud tires period
This is a PPSM VIC ride.... We go hard. This trail, believe it or not is a ridge. A high spot between two lakes kinda. Four years ago, there was NO water here. AM HONOURED..........I JUST WANT TO BE THERE? COOLEST ATV EVER!
It took me a while to get this one uploaded, over 770 megs. I usually don't take long vids but the action just kept on coming....lol. Remeber to thumbs up, favorite and subscribe to my channel for more great ATV action!!!!
before watching i wanted one. now i NEEEEEEEEED one
Yup, racking the rad keeps it out of the mud
This was before I had any editing programs...lol
lol, they definitely make it easier to get unstuck!
@Jupmer nope, about 70 kms north
@LandonB LOL, that's the CVT(belt drive) sound coming through the snorkels
@mikiebabie 2" Snorkel is all that's needed unless you were trunning a bored throttle body of something, stock intake is no bigger or maybe smaller...lol
there may be a carb vent on it that has to be sealed or a vent line run up
Great bikes guys! Just sold my Brute Force 750efi so I could get the 1000 DPS.
@721069 I use a waterproof Sony TX-5, works great and has a zoom and better sound then a gopro
Remedy against that is turning your exhaust tip down(like Honda did on the 680). Trust me, it works.
@GrantChampionTV I haven't personally, but alot of my riding buds have, pretty wet up there also
-->>SWEET TIME ..TOO FUNNY , deff worth that watch got my thumbs up!
7:31 he's gotta beer in his hand. he sure knows what hes doing.
I know, looks like a missed a great one...I worked that whole weekend :( We're going to St. Walburg
He runs two air intake snorkels to deliver more air to the motor
thanks for answering !
sorry , my english is not perfect !
my can-am is brand new ! 600 km / 7 mounts old ...
i'm going to get the new outlander 1000 MAX when it's gonna come out
i'm gonna grease also the connections.
thanks a lot !
yall have some really nice fourwheelers i have always wanted to drive one cant afford them lol but nice offroading
There is about 20 of us that ride fairly regular, about double that of guys that we ride with sometimes
I like the guy at 7:43 tryin not to spill his beer!
Hey you should have went to the Rama quad rally this past saturday, it was pretty fuckin sweet. Tons of water and mud holes. Everyone was friendly and lots of people. Amazing day.
