I love my recoil. To be fair i've upgraded the hell out of it and as you say the durability does go down a little but the guns are just fantastic. Bolt stop feature is also one of the best features to have on an airsoft gun. No more dry firing. Another gun worth looking at would be the ASG Evo. All the same features as a recoil except the recoil function but with the added benefit of an electronic trigger as stock
This is one of your best videos! I have a friend that has just got a TM recoil shock and he is in love with it! When you first start out in airsoft everyone tells you to get a cheap starter gun then see how you get on. If you end up loving the hobby/sport which most do then you start to realise that your main weapon is your bread and butter! You always end up buying better and better guns because in airsoft you really get what you pay for! I have had so many problems with guns it's crazy! I must have spent close to 500 quid on my sniper just to make it reliable which is mad! I totally get why you got this and I can't wait for the review 👍
The thing about the TM 416D DEVGRU you can only use up to a 1.3A LiPo battery because there is no room in the sliding stock. But I cut some of the plastic from inside the stock and now I can get a 2.2A twin LiPo battery with out problem and I can still use the sliding stock
I totally understand what you are talking about with the feel and reliable ability aspect of these guns. I was lucky enough to get an older one with no use at all. The first time I shot it, I kid you not, I said "goodbye all my other aegs." Great vid, always enjoy the channel! (Just a tip. These perform amazingly well with 7.4 lipoly batteries.)
+RandomTrashy Can't wait! Thanks for the reply. My gun, being one of tms first ones came with a stick Ni-Cd battery... So I tried all different kinds and decided 11.1 Lipo may just wear it out to quick and 7.4 was the perfect in between.
Marek from Camoraids has done it again. Fantastic service agreed and also great fun to play with. I own a TM MP7 and TM HK45 from camoraids. Hopefully I will pick up a rifle from him when the £££ comes in.
I've shot a few guns, but nothing compares to a TM! I got the CQBR, short, lightweight and easy to control (muzzle clearance). Range and accuracy is a beast on it, even tho its the CQB length its woodland ready!
+RandomTrashy Yeah they are very impressive! I to thought it's just another airsoft gun, whats so special. But when you actually hold one and shoot it, you soon realise why so many recommend a TM.
Sweet rifle man. I have a TM Desert Eagle, and by far it's probably one of the best stock guns i've ever used. I use 0.3g ammo in it and it just sends them flying for miles. TM's are definitely very well built guns.
good feedback mate, just got rid of my TM devgru. great kit. when you do mod it, make sure you go with a good gun builder. everyone's chucking spectres in but I think the only mod they need are the lipo mod to the stock and tightbore/hop they run 2.8 like a dream also
Flip_ Fluitketel VFC AEGs are very reliable. I own both an AEG HK416 and Knight's PDW by VFC and both served me well. Its their GBBRs that have a more negative reception.
No matter what marui puts out, it always performs, no matter what, aeg, gbb, aep… I personally had bad experience with vfc, the hopup I got in their guns was completely useless.
VFC 416 got a lot of issures and some parts you have to change in time, also it is not as precise as a Tokyo Marui on a VFC you have by 10 Shots some are off the Target, and sometimes a VFC has Jams/feeding problems but more rare on the new ones But in respect VFC are very in detail to the original HK416 and VFC got more FPS, also when it is not much better in distance then a Tokyo Marui and a VFC does cost about 1/4 to 1/3 less then a TM and it is much easier to get parts for the VFC then the Tokyo Marui in my country also much easier to get the gun, to get a Tokyo Marui is in my country hard and very rare becuase of Gun rights restrictions. And the VFC HK416 GBB does make much more fun because of the recoil is much greater then on a Tokyo Marui, but you need to buy then also everytime a bottle of Gas and the Mags are more expensive. And you can upgrade a VFC much better and much more easier them a Tokyo Marui so you want more FPS, better Battery, better Mosfet it is easier to find and to build it, on a Tokyo Marui you can not change much and when you do it will be difficult and you have to buy more expensive stuff or your Gun will preform worser then better, but there are also some great upgrades for a Tokyo Marui like a better Battery or a Gate Titan, but not very much to build better - it is already very good. So it depends on what you wanna have and your Money, when you got the money and you got really enough buy both of them, you got enough money and want to play softair more like a Sport so you count your Hits and wanna win go for the Tokyo Marui, you wanna more play it for Fun and just have the Military Feeling and are not so stressed when you have to repair you gun sometimes or it does fail you go buy a VFC HK416 GBB, when you play often in winter or in colder region do not buy the GBB it will not function good in cold weather, better the Tokyo Marui or the VFC 416 as AEG wihout GBB also when without GBB it is not so much fun. When you play the 1st time Airsoft ask a friend or someone will lend you a softair most people are collectors and got many and you can see if you want to play this more often, otherwise you buy something very expensive and it will just get dust at home, but when you do this take care of the gun of your friend, it is just testing if you like everything about the game or sport and if you can get to the field / area where you can play that game, for some people it might also very expensive to get to a gamefield and to pay the ticket. But buy for your Game protection like glasses and face protection and maybe some good shoes / boots when its outdoor.
I brought a TM 416D DEVGRU from my local shop about 5 weeks ago and all I have had is nothing but problems with it from the first day I got it. I also got a TM L96 300fps as stock. Upgraded it, again had problems so went back to stock was 300fps now shooting under 230fps not a happy chappy. I did have a TM 416D but sold it to get the L96 as I watched your channel on your L96 and then it all went pear shape. So spent about £1000 on two guns and upgrades and both are crap
Marui, the u comes after the r. MUH-ROO-EE not MOW-REE no? Looks nice in the box. Did you compare it to Krytac Trident MK2? Good vid, I'll check out the review.
The Heresy Group I think in certain areas of the us it’s easier someone told me in a comment section that’s in the west coast of the us it’s easier to get there the the east coast I’m trying to find a safe place for me to get one as I live in California
I'm mainly a collector due to health and I aim for realism in markings, weight etc. I don't strictly NEED them, I just want them for the sound and feel (and usually improved markings)
Hi great vid ..im new to airsoft but have researched and realised I should get a tm shock recoil aeg .. can you tell me what is the newest and best to date as I can't tell there is a lot of different ones Any help would be great thanks
I've been into airsoft for probably 6 years but have only bought one gun. I think it's time to get a new one. Would you recommend the Tokyo Mauri Aug at all?
If you think it's good now, have Kingdom of Airsoft work on it ;) I got my scar L CQC back last month, it's now hitting 65 meters with a .3. Spectre Fet has made a big difference too!
Hehe, Fair enough... Only think I'll say is that the long range shots outside tend to suffer as the velocity, even with a .25 is slooow... One thing tends to lead to another when upgrading however so it's swings and roundabouts. Great gun though :)
I was thinking about a TM, but one thing that turns me off how low FPS it is. I play outdoor games and most engagements happen anywhere from 100 to 200 feet. Can this Gun reach that range I just think it'll fall of too fast.
run stock with tight bore barrel increase the already excellent range and accuracy of tm guns add a little boast to fps no sacrifice to reliability or rate of fire you should be pushing 320-330 that will out range most cheap 400fps Chinese aeg if your not happy just add 1 spring level up and get a 370-400 fps and still have all the good thing tm have to offer
Little to no difference. The only things the Devgru 416 has and the regular 416 doesn't are the silencer, grip, sling mount, different pistol grip, stocks, and iron sights. If you have a regular 416, you can turn it into a devgru any day. REPLY
416. It shoots faster and it's less heavier. The 417 is made to be like a sniper rifle. It shoots slowly, doesn't use M4 mags, and is pretty much a heavy and very expensive mess.
Lend your 1st time a gun to see if you like the game and can get to a Field where you can play and take a look at the costs then buy one, but 1st buy protection Glasses, Face, good shoes. The Tokyo Marui is also good as a newbie gun, it is simple and has mot much issures but cost a lot.
Thanks ! I do possess the Sopmod, that’s why I’m asking. Was wondering if it was worth it to upgrade. As I understand it they are very similar. Though I’d give a slight edge to the Sopmod as it looks soooo much better in my opinion ! Thanks again for answering me mate, appreciate that !

I've picked this up a few times at my local store (Combat South) and its such a nice looking a feeling gun. Looking forward to the full review! Did you ever sell you're AM-014? I'm still running the AM-013 and have found after a crazy amount of digging the only things you can't change are the trigger and the casing. With the gears you need to run some neodymium magnets or the ECFS won't work correctly. Your point about getting a cheaper gun and upgrading is something I've looked into before I would love to see a cheaper base gun fully upgraded Vs a stock more pricey gun.
+RandomTrashy great can't wait. will you ever be getting good any gas blow backs at all? I've been looking at some GHK Ak's but there aren't many reviews online would be good to see an I depth breakdown etc.
There's nothing worse than a TM fan boy, and you have definitely got it bad, and you have lost your credibility if you say that vfc is no where near as good as TM, I own two VFC aegs and 5 tm recoils so I can say that from experience, I couldn't decide which is better so I stick to my Evo scorpion instead
Awesome! Look forward to the review!!
Bought the Devgru from CAMOraids off the back of the review, superb quality and great customer service from Marek...5 star
I love my recoil. To be fair i've upgraded the hell out of it and as you say the durability does go down a little but the guns are just fantastic. Bolt stop feature is also one of the best features to have on an airsoft gun. No more dry firing.

did ask you last time what your next buy is and you stood by your comment great choice looking forward to the review
my first blaster is a TM 416D ! its a brilliant and reliable platform.
cant wait for the review, please go in to great detail about it. i feel it will be a great resource, especially with the quality of your videos.
The thing about the TM 416D DEVGRU you can only use up to a 1.3A LiPo battery because there is no room in the sliding stock. But I cut some of the plastic from inside the stock and now I can get a 2.2A twin LiPo battery with out problem and I can still use the sliding stock

as soon as he said it was a stellar retailer I knew who it was
Love this channel I always come watch this break down of this weapon
Thanks mate - Please can you share on any community pages you follow - Thanks THG - #THG #TokyoMarui #TSA #Camo
I got my TM patriot high cycle for £240. Came with spare mag and peq box from a marshal at my local site
Just got a second hand M4 CQBR recoil for the same price with 6 82 round mags.
Mega Bargin
I've shot a few guns, but nothing compares to a TM! I got the CQBR, short, lightweight and easy to control (muzzle clearance). Range and accuracy is a beast on it, even tho its the CQB length its woodland ready!

good feedback mate, just got rid of my TM devgru. great kit. when you do mod it, make sure you go with a good gun builder. everyone's chucking spectres in but I think the only mod they need are the lipo mod to the stock and tightbore/hop

I only want a new spring, lipo and a Spectre.
Just bought the new TM delta custom!! You should get one mate :)
I bought one too, eBay seller seems to be a kid and can't seem to get ride a to the post and it's been a week since I bought it
Is VFC better than Marui? A lot of people are saying that for some reason. I personally like Marui.
Flip_ Fluitketel VFC AEGs are very reliable. I own both an AEG HK416 and Knight's PDW by VFC and both served me well. Its their GBBRs that have a more negative reception.
Very Frustrating Company

Iam about to get a CYMA AK74u it's full metal with wood furniture and compatible with Tokyo marui parts and iam pretty happy
I brought a TM 416D DEVGRU from my local shop about 5 weeks ago and all I have had is nothing but problems with it from the first day I got it. I also got a TM L96 300fps as stock. paul denholm sounds like you don't know what you're doing when it comes to upgrading
Sorry to say it, but you broke them yourself.
Great video man!
Marui, the u comes after the r. MUH-ROO-EE not MOW-REE no? Looks nice in the box. Did you compare it to Krytac Trident MK2? Good vid, I'll check out the review.
RandomTrashy nor price, but value per dollar?
If the gun is rewired to deans, does that void the warranty
I want to get one but I live in the us and heard it’s pretty difficult to get it here
The Heresy Group I think in certain areas of the us it’s easier someone told me in a comment section that’s in the west coast of the us it’s easier to get there the the east coast I’m trying to find a safe place for me to get one as I live in California
You still recommend?
You're talking about different guns for half the video.
Wasnt that the point of the video? why buy one, which he explains why he bought one.
did the very low fps made any problems during games? anyone not satisfied with the TMs very low fps?
Had more range than most guns I played against to be honest . !
@@RandomTrashy thanks for this as i was split between a TM and an upgraded E&C for the same price
I love the TM pistols, just a shame they can't make them with metal slides.
I'm mainly a collector due to health and I aim for realism in markings, weight etc. I don't strictly NEED them, I just want them for the sound and feel (and usually improved markings)
2017 you've got around £600 to spend on a AEG. You still buying this ? or you buying something else.
What are the measurements of the box if you don't mind me asking?
im waiting for this exact gun to be in stock
thanks for the links
Hi great vid ..im new to airsoft but have researched and realised I should get a tm shock recoil aeg .. can you tell me what is the newest and best to date as I can't tell there is a lot of different ones

good info earned a subscriber
I've been into airsoft for probably 6 years but have only bought one gun. I think it's time to get a new one. Would you recommend the Tokyo Mauri Aug at all?
the aug high cycle is utterly insane. one of the best performing guns period.
If you think it's good now, have Kingdom of Airsoft work on it ;) I got my scar L CQC back last month, it's now hitting 65 meters with a .3. Spectre Fet has made a big difference too!

My stock TM 416 was easily hitting targets around 150 feet. With my upgrades its shooting 370 FPS and is reaching around 220 feet easily.
But power AND range are important. What's the point in hitting a target if they don't feel it at range?
James Bailey a 280 fps Tokyo Marui will always outrange a 400 fps JG. If power is your worry then you can put a stronger spring in it
run stock with tight bore barrel increase the already excellent range and accuracy of tm guns add a little boast to fps no sacrifice to reliability or rate of fire you should be pushing 320-330 that will out range most cheap 400fps Chinese aeg if your not happy just add 1 spring level up and get a 370-400 fps and still have all the good thing tm have to offer
Hello mate i've a question what do you think is beter the devgru or the newer hk416 delta custom?
Oh i c thx ✌🏻️
whats the difference between tm 416 and the 416devgru
Little to no difference. The only things the Devgru 416 has and the regular 416 doesn't are the silencer, grip, sling mount, different pistol grip, stocks, and iron sights. If you have a regular 416, you can turn it into a devgru any day.
REPLY
How available are parts for it?
need some help determining to get the TM HK416D or the TM M4A1 sopmod. Both next gen AEG. Please help guys...
I've got the SOPMOD - looking at the 416 Devgru as a back up! Like it a lot!
Would you recommend the HK416D or the HK417?
416. It shoots faster and it's less heavier. The 417 is made to be like a sniper rifle. It shoots slowly, doesn't use M4 mags, and is pretty much a heavy and very expensive mess.
I have just picked up a TM scar L recoil and it cost me around 450 is it worth it and is it a good gun ?
Is this a good first gun to buy?
Lend your 1st time a gun to see if you like the game and can get to a Field where you can play and take a look at the costs then buy one, but 1st buy protection Glasses, Face, good shoes. The Tokyo Marui is also good as a newbie gun, it is simple and has mot much issures but cost a lot.

Enjoyed the in-depth video.... but biggest problem I am finding is anything like this appears to be out of stock !!!!!😠😠
"I'm not going to upgrade it at all"
Is that a Next Gen Spring I see in the box?
Wait so thats not a spring in the box?
What's the difference between the TM Devgru Hk416D custom and the TM HK416D Next Gen ?
Little to no difference. The only things the Devgru 416 has and the regular 416 doesn't are the silencer, grip, sling mount, different pistol grip, stocks, and iron sights. If you have a regular 416, you can turn it into a devgru any day.
leave gun in box
mount box on wall.
bow your head each time you pass it
I've picked this up a few times at my local store (Combat South) and its such a nice looking a feeling gun. Looking forward to the full review!

+RandomTrashy great can't wait.
will you ever be getting good any gas blow backs at all?
I've been looking at some GHK Ak's but there aren't many reviews online would be good to see an I depth breakdown etc.
+RandomTrashy really that's not good all I've heard is how great the mags are for them. do you know what he has at all?
you made a mistake, you call these airsoft guns "weapons" that's wrong, these are TOYS. otherwise great video.
RandomTrashy, so whats wrong with an Evo it comes in a very nice box, which you seem to think is more important than the actual product inside
