Ace Combat - Workout Mix Vol.1
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 28 июн 2024
- The Ace Combat series have a ton of great songs, mostly epic and orchestral. I know some people don't think orchestral/epic soundtracks are fit for working out, but for me they are some of the best. It's not about following a high beat song, but about feeling like a legend, like you're achieving something great, and the Ace Combat soundtrack does that very well. This is the first volume since there are too many songs to fit them in one mix. If I see enough demand for this one, I'll make sure to deliver the seocnd one for sure.
Also support the composers any way you can, featuring: Keiki Kobayashi, Tetsukazu Nakanishi, Ryo Watanabe and Junichi Nakatsuru.
If you wanna support me, I only ask you to please subscribe and like the videos on this channel, even if you don't understand the language lol. It would mean the world to me. Thanks everyone / @somnioficial

This couldn't have come at a better time. I've spent almost the past 2 weeks just enthralled in the whole Ace Combat series. I've gone from only knowing Zero the song, to having played the three PS2 games, downloaded the 2 PSP games, and bought 7 and Project Wingman over the summer sale.
Thank you for creating this whole mix! I'll definitely be listening to this for the next few weeks as well.
>
I am doing exactly the same lol
Project Wingman was great, you will certainly enjoy it. The soundtrack for Project Wingman by Jose Pavli is really good as well.
I went through that about half a year ago. It all starts with the music.
For me it was the Ace Combat lore memes with the Megalith x Somebody That I Used To Know remix but I liked Megalith alone much better and so began the spiral.
welcome to the community, ace.
We got another convert. Welcome aboard
I did a blind play through of AC7 and hands down, it is one of the best game soundtracks I have personally ever listened to. It made the game *that* much better. I slowly learned about the other games and man is it good running music
It is indeed. Ace Combat games have always a banger of an OST. I recommend to you any other AC game. You can play them with emulators like PCSX2
@@bigdoggo5827 Oh trust me, I did lol. I actually went out and bought a PS2 and grabbed 4, 5, and 0 for it.
If you liked 7, play 5, 0, 4, and the english crack of 3
7 is very good but those games have some of the best narratives of any games I've ever played
hands down
edit: just for context, ac5 is on my list of games that will make me cry. That game is a beautiful game about people and an anti war message that gets me to tear up every time I play it
@@MCCanaryVideos I have yet to play 3 but I have played 4 and 5. 0 I have not completed but spoiled a good part of the story when I didn't think I could obtain 0. But I completely agree that 5 is a wonderful game. It didn't make me cry per say, but the message is really good, and it honestly was the peak of Ace Combat story telling. Im excited to play 3 and want to finish 0 but yeah. Hopefully whatever and whenever Ace Combat 8 is, they expand on what 7 did right and push the story to what AC5 and 0 were capable of achieving.
Yeah, I appreciate team aces and always want to know what they end up doing next. And for 3, be sure you are playing a Japanese copy of the game. There are English mods for it but the English version cuts out 2/3rds of the experience, and makes it a linear story that makes no sense. The original is an ambitious multiroute narrative that is less of a "choose your own adventure" and more of a high scify cyber punk mystery.
It certainly is the weirdest game in the series and the most ambitious as far as narrative and theming
Edit: it is a head trip and definitely under appreciated imo
The first two songs being Sol and Razgriz reminds me of all the speculation before AC7 came out. People were saying that Osea were going to be the bad guys, Sol were actually Razgriz or their descendents (based on the color scheme and nothing else), Mister X was actually Blaze coming out of hiding... It was a wild time.
You gotta admit if Blaze, Archer, and Swordsman suddenly went on comms saying they and a bunch of other pilots would be providing support because Harling wouldn’t want you to come this far just to lose and then we get our Nagase cameo I’d have cried even more than the ending made me
I loved AC7. LOVED it. Absolutely perfect game
But if that had happened Holy *shit* that would be a game to end all games, an absolute emotion-smasher! Flying alongside Razgriz again with their theme intertwined through Trigger's.... it would have been a thing of beauty
Ace Tip: Listen to this at the same time as a "Deep Brown Noise" track and it'll give you the same effect as in-game with the cockpit background noise.

After working out to this, I've truly begun to change and gain mass. My ass has already begun to shift into two General Electric F404. My skin seems to be becoming metal and I can now pick up radar signatures. I have decided to officialize my transition by declaring that I identify as a Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet.

Fun Fact: Imagine your body weighs twice as much as it does as you are reading this. That's twice the force of gravity. That's 2G. Imagine your body weighs 3 times as much as you're reading this. That's 3Gs. This is how much X-15 pilots would experience just from a few degrees course correction. It's on the lower-end of how much you'd feel if you were on a Space Shuttle launch. Now imagine that your body weighs 9 times as much as it does now. That's 9Gs. That's what most modern aircraft are rated for and what most combat aircraft pilots can pull sustained maneuvers for. If your body weighed 200 pounds/90 kilograms, you'd feel like your body weighs 1,800 pounds/816 kilograms. You'd weigh as much, by feel, as about half the weight of your average SUV. And you're not even pulling the maximum amount of Gs as many pilots would pull, let alone those in the Ace Combat/Strangereal universe. They pull 12+ Gs with ease, by way of our understanding of physics and Earth. In fact, they routinely pull Gs that would otherwise obliterate the aircraft that they fly. The F-14 was limited to ~6.5G (pilots would push that limit way past that and hit 9G, but it was something you weren't supposed to do). In-game, at the speeds you're going, you're easily pulling 14++ G. If you weighed 200 pounds, you're feel like your body weighs 2,800 pounds/1,270 kilos. Far more than a ton. About 2/3s the weigh of an SUV. Your arms, your legs, would feel like they weigh hundreds of pounds.
So if it's leg day or you're lifting, just imagine you're Razgriz pulling a high-G maneuver to avoid a missile and that the weight you're lifting is just what you'd feel in the moment. Lift knowing that your life depends on it. Pull back on the stick, feeling like your body weighs as much as a car. Breath like a ton is on top of your chest. Because, technically, there is.
Nice way to motivate me to go past my fears
Holy moly I'm gonna remember this comment when I go to the gym again
Thinking about this both makes me feel like a badass for my squat (around 1.5x bodyweight - so 2.5g) and yet like nothing at all in that comparison, and I love it.
Shuttle Launch actually maxes out at like 3G. The problem is they're manned by scientists. Fighter jets are manned by soldiers.
If you guys wondering, yes all of this music came from game about Fighter Jet.
Zero, Archange, and Hero of Comberth Harbour all right after each other? That's how we bring out the true Belkan in each and every person right there
I love the soundtracks with choir parts, especially Daredevil! It really feels like you are being at an epic and at the same time horrific battle.
I honestly feel like Daredevil is kind of like the song playing when at first, allied squadrons are having a hard time, then a hero (Trigger) comes up and shit go from 0 to 100 real fucking quick for the ennemy
@@Lecradu6 It's more that the plan is in motion, the pieces are falling into place then nothing...it all fails. The dissonance as it all seems to fall apart and the realisation that we're going to lose. Then the shield drops. That release of tension and the spark of hope as the allies form up to protect Strider 1 as he goes town on the Arsenal Bird.
So much emotion in a 5min track.
You gotta include Magic Spear 1 and Enchanter 2 on the next one.
Now I can finally learn the wonders of Belkan Witchcraft, Zero-Gravity, and taking missiles in Non-Critical Locations
The critical location is the 4ss and the b4lls
missiles can't find you if you're a mute lunatic
That drop Daredevil paired with the moment in game really does give you goosebumps. Every time I hear that drop I just have memories of jinking between drones on a run towards the Arsenal Bird.
When it hits just as you burst out of a cloud into the sunshine and the low-pass filter drops off. Glorious.
Absolutely amazing, Ace Combat has such criminally underrated music.

Man, I've never played the Ace Combat games before, but suddenly I really want to get their soundtracks!
The Unsung War is still to this day a masterpiece alike to One Winged Angel imo. Like I don't even care that much about jets or dogfights like that BUT the ost in these games is always a hit! Way to surf on the hype of the new Top Gun movie btw :p
Everybody gangsta till they hear the CASTANETS!
While I usually prefer more rock or something with fast paced, It's different with ace combat. There is always some beat in the songs, And that's why I appreciate it so much, Even though I'm not really working out. I just like to listen to music when I'm outside, Doing whatever.
So thank you for this playlist. All of us appreciate it.
Well once again I am blown away by the energy that these mixes output shame you cant have all songs in the mix since they deserve it
Literally bought and played AC:7 because of this. Love it
So many emotions are flowing right now listening to this... I grew up with the AC series, and the music was always placed in the best ways to make the gameplay epic and emotional. There's a reason First Flight from AC5 is my morning alarm
God I'd love to make some of the Ace Combat soundtrack my alarm. But I'm far too afraid of putting a negative spin on some of the best songs on the planet.
I'm always looking for new and interesting music. So far this album hits all the right notes. Thank you for introducing me to this work!
Me before Ace Combat Workout Mix Vol 1: self-care sucks and going to the gym is annoying
Me two weeks after Ace Combat Workout Mix Vol 1: oh thank you for the complement, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Phelps, you're far too kind, but I seriously don't think I'm THAT much buffer and better-toned than both of you at your peak, combined
Just randomly found this video and now i got it playing in the background. Thanks for the compilation.

This playlist is nothing short of phenomenal. I'm eagerly awaiting the Vol 2 you've promised us in that description! Don't be afraid to add some of the bangers that are in here back into Vol 2 as well lol
Damn, I saw someone request this in just the previous video, didn't thought this will be the *exact next* video, much appreciated man
The music is really powerful and moving. I love it.
Any AC fans out there, hear me out for a second. Ace Combat 1941. A WW2 game set in the strangereal universe where instead of jets and missiles, we have piston engines and gun cannons. Good old warbirds with even bigger dogfights above Belka, Yuktobania, Estovakia, Usea, even defending Osea from the strangereal equivalent of the Axis Powers. Wouldn't it be cool to explore some of Strangereal's past with its equivalent of world war 2? What started the development of hyper-advanced jets in Strangereal? Which country developed jet fighters first? What crazy experimental piston engine fighters did Belka, Osea, Yuktobania, and even Usea have? And if that wasn't enough, we could switch between protagonists on opposite sides of the war, and even choose who to side with at the ending fight of the game, or even create a new opposing force to stop the fighting. There's some cool angles to explore in 1940's Strangereal!
that needs to be more crimson skies, it needs more giant sky carrier zeppelins hauling squadrons around!
Amen brother. Then we could do a 1970's version of the Rectan Conflict
I don't normally comment on your vids but I wanted to commend you on the consistent sound quality of each track, lately it's been difficult to find versions of my favorite Ace Combat songs without weird clipping or mixing issues-yours have none of that and all the audio is normalized properly!
Thank you SO much for this.
