- Hi everyone! It's been a while. I've been moving out + other personal stuff. Hope you didn't miss me too much. This time, after the spectacular Armored Core VI announcement, I thought about making a mix of this great series, which I'm a huge fan of, as well as anything related to mechas. It was hard to choose the songs since there are so many styles and games within the Armored Core series, so I hope you like the ones chosen for this one in particular. Enjoy!

This is what I was hoping for. AC6 gets announced after From Soft makes a name for themselves and now the whole series is getting pushed into the limelight. Feels good man, feels good.

I still remember the first time I played Armored Core: Nexus. It's also the first Armored Core game I've ever played. In love with the series since.
I'm falling into the same pattern as I did with Ace Combat back then, and at the same time as your mix as well.
Before, I only knew Armoured Core by name, and the closest thing I played to it (without realizing it was by the same producer) was Daemon X Machina.
AC6 finally pushed me to play. Now, I'm starting from the beginning with AC1, PP, and MoA, on 3ds (thanks to emulation). I also grabbed the entire PS2 library of it and am eager to try them all out.
And just like Ace Combat, the music is incredible here. I already got Shining, Mechanized Memory, and Rain all on various playlists. Time to see what I've been missing out on all my life, and to fill that Exteel-shaped hole in my heart.

@@crimeman621 I think its really good. Its really atmospheric/cinematic and complements really well. However theres only like 2 or 3 songs that Id listen to outside of playing the game. Which is a bit disappointing but expected.
@@kap1117i definitely agree with you and i think that the overall soundtrack not standing out let’s vocal pieces like rusted pride and stargazer stand out way more

There's a certain warbly "spacey-sounding" synth riff that is instantly recognizable as Armored Core music.

Armored Core 3 got me into the game and after beating 3 4 and 5 I was sad thinking there won't be another but years later hearing them announce they are making Armored Core 6 made me jump with joy...they never forgot the franchise
