I'm just wondering why you didn't get an original Center console from a junk yard out of a totaled charger or challenger and simply used the space of the shifter for something else (like a wireless charger or a concealed storage for documents or a little gun safe or any other thing).
@@leonflorez6975 okay, fair enough. I would still go for the regular OEM center console myself, but I value the looks a lot and I understand not everybody values the same stuff I do
I liked the one that was in there, so many options that you could do with it! Nice to have all that power there. You could have grown a mullet and put a CB radio in there. Your dad will remember those.
Nice install, I just bought a 2013 FHP charger and will need a center console also. I did ham radio so I’ll probably buy a console where I can mount my radios. Did you notice anything with the driver flooring? Mine is somewhat bubbled up in several spots and I don’t know if that normal or a sign that something leaked under the vinyl floor? Thanks for the videos.😀
There's a lot to like with the police model Chargers. Column shifter, V8 with AWD (not offered in civilian versions!!), and if you're really feeling ambitious you can upgrade the entire dash with Dodge's 12" screen (possible but big $$$) assuming you can find a dealer to reprogram the car (the 12" vertical screen is an option on police models)
Thank you! We got one 2 years ago (200mph and 0-60 in 6 seconds) other than that, rough ride, back doors locked, big metal block for a console. Yours had read indoor handles, ours does not. We were told, go buy other car doors, cheaper that to install all of the individual components. Can not get any info on how to activate the cruise control. Do you know?
Bought the same center console and its definitely over priced for the quality of it. Had a little fitment issues to start and after a year the screws have already come loose and it rattles. Thinking of buying a different center console.
@hedrasoliman6677 I was thinking of that but I bought a better console off Amazon that fit perfectly and has a ton of space in it already, I think I like it better than the oem.

Civilian center consoles run over 500 bucks this was 200

Why is a column shifter cool? And awd does come in civilian chargers
@@mogulme6190 You cannot get a V8 AWD model in the civilian Chargers, only a V6. Column shifter is something you have to use to appreciate.
@@mogulme6190 you’re wrong on both accounts. And awd is sick bc it’s awd. Column shifter is convenient tbh
My old cop car is rwd but mine is 2009
Column shift trash

I put the same console in my pursuit and had the same fitment issue on the left side with the plastic thing lmao
Why did you not just get the console from a stock model and pop it in there. Waste of money on that console.
Can you fit a comb in that new console? LOL
Little heat gun play will fix the fitment
Did you ever sell the Havis console?
bro wtf u deserve much more views!

Buy a civilian console from a junkyard

Honestly, they shouldn’t sell it, because quality is not good. Not for 200$ or 20$
Much cleaner look, I agree the hatch hinge could have been better
hey! what paint code is that?
To be honest that police console was more badass ...I'm pretty sure plastic to cover those up
Hey man what did you do with the center console? If you still have it, are you willing to sell, I can pay shipping as well
Hey Eric I still have it and I’d be willing to sell it!
@@DriveHub how can I message you privately lol
I have a stock one from a 2012 dodge charger if you want to send us the havis center console
Can I have the old one?😊
Will you be doing a spot light delete next for the exterior?
First
❤️❤️❤️
You from NH?
I would’ve kept it as is, to each their own i guess
