My newest aglaonema snapped off at the base. I wasn't sure if I could save it, but your video has given me hope. I've trimmed away damage on it and stuck it back in to see if it will root. Thanks!
Wow! Great job! This is the best video on Chinese Evergreen Proprogation I've seen yet!!! Thanks for showing two ways of Proprogation AND what each root system looked like after a month!!!!! THANK YOU!!!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 One question, did you do anything qith the stump from the 1st pot that was on the right in the beginning of the video? Again GREAT JOB!!! And beautiful plant 🪴
May I ask how often you watered the soil ones? I purchased a snow white ag online and it arrived without any roots! It's refreshing to see you were able to grow roots from a stem cutting in soil. So far I've just moistened the soil and added hormex root hormones...
Can you please advise where to buy the soil mix you used for propagation? Besides, where can I buy those propagation bottles?please respond to my query.
Hi Adela, just a couple of questions. What happened to the root stumps that you had cut the stems from, you know the ones left in that soil wrapped in the black plastic from the beginning of the video? Did any new leaves grow out from it? Also, what if you don’t have cow dung? Thank you for making this video! Keep growing! 🌿
Hi Annisa, that's a great question. Thanks for asking, the stump from the mother plant grew small leaves. Based on my experience, coco peat is also healthy for plants. But I have not yet tried growing it using Aglaonema Snow White plant. But I used coco peat in several of my videos here in my channel :) Here is a sample: ruclips.net/video/ObVS-yUZteQ/видео.html&t /
Hi Adela B, good to know! I’ll just cut and propagate in the same pot so it will look more fuller! And I will have to add coco peat in my soil collection! 🥥 By the way, what is your native language? I notice you’ve replied back to almost every viewer in the very same language that they speak to you. That’s incredible and quite helpful! Many thanks to you again! Selamat & Terima Kasih 😉🌿
Water propogation is safe no, 100% successful? Bz I tried the same today with light green variety! Also want to ask, y your cuttings became black from bottom, in water?
Hi Swetha, not all plants. Plants have different behaviors depending on its variety. It is good to learn the behavior of plants how they grow and propagated. :)
How long does it take to grow roots from water propagation? Do I have to use distilled water or can I use tap? How often do I change the water? Does it need light during water propagation?
Hi Alexis, you have good questions. For the Aglaonema Snow White, it took 36 days for the roots to appear in water. I used only tap water / regular water. I change the water every 3 days / once a week. I just placed them in shaded area not indoors. :) Goodluck :)
Just bought my agalaonema snow white earlier nd the seller told me that it is ready for propagation but the problem is i dnt know how lol thanks for this vid helps alot!
Oh my gosh! You mean to tell me I can propagate my aglaonema in soil? that's perfect! now... How often should I water it during the propagation process?
Hi Dorothy, I haven't tried propagating this plant using Worm Casting. But, in my opinion, it is a healthy soil too for you to use. Just make some experiments :)
Salamat..
Hello Antonette Guevarra :) Yes po pwede sya ilipat from water to soil as long as my root na sya, regarding nman sa soil, kung walang cow dung base sa aking experience pwede mo haluan ung coco peat mo ng soil any soil from your backyard, 70% soil and 30% coco peat. Sana po nakatulong at balitaan nyo po ako kung gusto nyo itry. Thanks and Happy Gardening!!!!
I accidentally broke the root structure off a Chinese Evergreen (Aglaonema). Should I try rooting hormone to save it or just stick it in soil and keep watering it?
@@AdelaBespejo Thanks! But I asked because I bought one from overseas and all the leaves had died when it arrived. After many months the leaves never grew back and I recently noticed the roots had rotted. So I ended up with a stem with no roots or leaves. I know this will probably not work, but I cut the stem in two and placed them on top of moist sphagnum moss.

This is what I’ve been trying to see! Where exactly to cut. Did you add anything special? Growth hormone, fertilizer to the soil?
Hi Stacey, I didn't use any rooting hormone, or fertilizers. I just used, organic soil using pure cow dung manure.
Informative video! How long did it take to root in pure cow manure?
Very good I very much like plants
That's great Susan, I love plants too :)
Great job! ..I've always wondered. ..apart from separation of the plant. .by what other means it can be propogated...Thank uuuuuu! 😊
yes..i always wonder...aside from division....i can now propagate mine

Great video! Will the remaining roots from the mother plant grow new babies or will the roots die off? Thank you
Hi, in my experience, it will grow another roots and make new babies again :)
Thank you 💕
Hi. Thank you for this video. Do you put water cuttings near a bright sunny window?
Hi Nadine, I placed them in shaded area. Not direct sunlight but bright area :)
So the plant which has got these leaves that plant do grow in water 😃❤️
Thank you Swetha :)
Should i put the stem cuttings in the tap water in direct sunlight?
Hi Jimmy, avoid placing them in direct sunlight as it might burn the leaves of the plants. Place in bright indirect sunlight.
How often should you water and should it be in the sun?

Hi Sarah, based on my experience, I propagate during summer season :)

How u made the potting mix for the propagation?
Looks like it's just regular potting soil. Something nice and fluffy so the cuttings don't stay too wet for too long.
