Milwaukee doesn't have one particular sound. You got the "Low End" sound that's popular on TikTok with the new generation, the high speed/"slap" music that's the sound of the streets, and then you you got alternative, backpack, etc for the other artists who don't necessarily fit into those categories.
The old Milwaukee sound was "jack rap" but that's pretty much not in style anymore or evolved into some of the sounds you see today.
I’d say that’s probably the “signature” sound is the low end slap typa stuff, but u right
I love this! Being an artist in Milwaukee (DJ/Producer) this is amazing to see! The one thing about the music industry here that I have seen is that there are a lot of rappers/artist in here that compete with each other but Run Along Forever, they are doing what every other local artist should do, support each other. The one thing I always tell upcoming or current artist is to keep going being consistent on posting content, posting music, and MOST IMPORTANT create your opportunities. Because some people are always waitng for the opportunity but trust me, you are able to create your own opportunity!

I love the notion that everyone is supportive of each other’s music rather than beefing and that’s honestly just how rap should be. I’d literally rather listen to rappers rap complete cap on every track than all of us having to be losing another promising artist every month or two.
The first thing I noticed was how diverse everyone is. I think that's great and I love to see it.
