@@bishaljahir5016 well he couldn’t have gotten a shedinja because you need to evolve a nicada, which he can’t do because he’s losing levels lol I guess unless you catch a nincada above his evolution level and level down to that level... I don’t know if that would work or not honestly

@@LuLu-uz3lg you technically can do it by simple catching a linone with a high enough level that it can drop rare candy

@@Viviantoga Yes. And then “grinding” with the newly evolved Gyarados to decrease levels and learn new moves by reaching the level it’s normally supposed to learn the move :)

This is the type of content I like to see. No overleveling, and in turn we get some thinking and pivoting involved. Utilizing your pokemon's weakness to your advantage.

Two absolute favorite content creators
As a fan of both Smant and Wolfey, I love these crossovers
Struggle in earlier gens did recoil based on the damage done not a fixed %, usually not relevant but it does come up in some of the Battle Factory. But also, Wobbuffet is banned from using leftovers in gen 3, if two Wobbuffets ended up facing each other it would cause an infinite stall. They couldn't switch due to shadow tag they would pp stall each other until they struggled but because their attack is so low and their hp is so high, leftovers would outheal the recoil and struggle damage, causing them to be locked in an eternal battle.
I love how your “reaction” videos are more “analysis” videos, nice change of pace. :)
Is there any chance that when you lose experience you lose EVs? That would explain why when some Pokémon leveled down they would suddenly be much worse in battle, maybe their EV stat went from 0 to -255 or whatever

Oh, the reason Marrill didn't faint immediately when it leveled down around 9:45 probably has something to do with the Pomeg glitch.
In Pokemon Emerald, using a Pomeg Berry on a pokemon with 1 or 2 HP left caused their HP to drop to 0. I'm not entirely sure of the specifics, but I'd guess the game only checks whether to apply the Fainted status on certain triggers, such as after applying damage.
As a practical matter, this glitch could be exploited to battle with an Egg and hatch it directly into an already evolved form, or with high level moves.
I'd love to see you react to the other 2(? I can't remember the exact number) episodes of this run

I mean i would take literally ages, but zigzagoon pickup could help you farm items like protein. and i feel like slakoth yawn switch into shroomish on the geodudes could have been a strategy. Also would help you with the money issue.

You should react to Pokemon Challenges “How I Beat the Hardest Gen 5 Nuzlocke”

You should watch the other parts. The late-game starts are so cool. Technically it's wrong that pokémon can't evolve Smallant reveals how.
I watch smallAnt enough to know anything he does is possible, outside when he did Zelda BOTW without a single jump just to realise he has to jump fighting final form of Ganon. Also people did lets plays of Pokemon with level 1 only or no experience point gain, im sure this challenge is less demanding than some other challenges he made in the past. The catching Pokemon is afterall limitless, so lots of luck, and plenty of good catches will make it possible at one point.
Wolfey, I really love your content. But if you make a reaction video about pokemon, would you maybe make the camera small enough, so that we might be able to see the Lifebar of the Pokemon? 😅
