Sure it makes the car lighter, but calling road assistance takes a lot more time (sometimes up to 3 hours) especially in the winter months in my country when a spare could work better and getting one out of the cold faster!
Yeah but how much does that actually happen? I've been driving a long time and I've never actually used a spare tyre before. Even a weight saver tyre will weight like 20kg with the jack. Whereas a small puncture repair kit like this (or better) will weight about 3kg and take up less space. This makes sense.
Tire "Repair" Kit Pros: - Less weight for the car = better performance. - Easier for people who have no idea how to change a tire (something you *should know* if driving a vehicle). Cons: - It takes much more time since you have to stop *AGAIN* to double-check. - Waiting for roadside assistance can take *hours!* Exposing your passengers to the *situation* (I leave that part to your imagination). - Depending on the type of puncture, you have *no option* but to call roadside assistance. Spare Tire Pros: - Faster solution. - Reliable (there is *nothing* for me that can top this one) Cons: - More weight in your car = Lower performance - You need to know what you are doing I take the spare tire any day, every day.
Having a spare tire really doesn’t add on as much weight as people think. Spare tire Is less weight than if you were to drive around with a passenger in your car all the time
The other day I saw a newer Mustang (Which has one of these kits) with a flat tire with irreparable damage to the sidewalls. No thanks I'll be having a proper spare tire on hand.
Spare tyre is best as it is a sure job and ten minutes for the compressor to pump the tyre with sealant and all the process to locate the puncture, by then I will change the spare tyre and be on my way
Do you have it can you produce a video for installing a space saver w/kit, into preferably a 2017 civic model? Every website I see one requires a whole to be cut in the carpet and I’d feel a lot more comfortable if an official dealer was to endorse this.
So what happens when your tire blows out on the highway in a romote location. Or your miles/km away from the next small town. Tire repare kit is useless at that point. Having yourself a spare tire, you’ll be able to replace that tire well before roadside assistance arrives in that sort of situation
Yes there is always an expiry date printed on the sealant bottle, they usually have a service life of a couple of years, varying between different brands, the sealant bottle in my new car has a usable time window of two and a half years, the compressor can be reused many times though, it doesn’t have an expiry date.
There's also one in the shape of a gold star. You'll need to place it on your upright chest, just below your shoulder, once you've completed the repair all by yourself. Lol
It tells us a lot about the kit's usefulness when we keep hearing to call the road side assistance 4 to 5 times in this short video. Thanks but no thanks mam!
If you're macho man like me, you can plug a tyre on the side of the road and then it's a permanent fix. This is for people who dont know what they are doing.
😂😂😂So if not work.. what is the point to have any them to repair a tire and then need to call assistance ...what a full S.... why don't just make a car whit spare tires muppet
Be honest and say it’s cheaper 🤣

Exactly

@@yorkshire_tea_innit8097You UTTER moron.
So when my 2017 Civic Hatchback Sport has this issue, I want her to assist me.
Good video.
Yes, she should come w/ the road side assistant package. I can imagine many Honda owners suddenly puncturing their own tires on purpose.
And keep me WARM 🤔

@@tonig7400 weight is weight.
Nothing can replaces a real spare tire. Terrible idea honda.

I just love her, when she explained about honda😍
Call honda assistant and wait hours. Better to have a old school spare wheel and the sealant.
Spare tyre is best as it is a sure job and ten minutes for the compressor to pump the tyre with sealant and all the process to locate the puncture, by then I will change the spare tyre and be on my way

I’d rather have a spare tire 🤦🏻♂️
2017 Civic model - is there space in the boot for a spare wheel/space saver and accompanying tools
Yes there is. Just purchased it from Honda through my dealer.
This is the thing for 90% of all cars in europe
I checked my trunk i see no sealant?
Is there an expiration date for the sealant?

Can I use the kit only to inflate the tires? Like a normal compressor?
WTF do you think??????
How bout just putting a spare tire and stop being cheap! What the hell are you thinking Honda?
Is the sicker a joke?
There's also one in the shape of a gold star. You'll need to place it on your upright chest, just below your shoulder, once you've completed the repair all by yourself. Lol
I only clicked to see this beautiful woman fix a flat😍
With many European brands nowadays fitted with front/rear different size wheels, this is the only way to go.
Very good

I heard none of that. She is too damn hot for me to pay attention. Honda! Put some regular good looking people in these videos.
Really? I think that's a dude
How can do it for grace 2015
as soon as anyone buys this car they should toss that junk out and put a spare tire, jack and tools, in the trunk.
That’s exactly what I did. Another money making exercise for Honda.
thanks for that Honda...WTF
Beautiful 🤩
Moron
Had a look at mine and can’t understand how to use at all . Far too complicated.
Brand new cars with after market wide markers 🤔
I absolutely hate it 🤬
I prefer spare wheel dont like play with toys
She’s hot as hell
What a pile of shit, give me a conventional spare tyre over this rubbish any day.
But you still need to go out and fix the tyre? So it's not really a fix. It's a temporary fix. 😭😄. That for the price.
If you're macho man like me, you can plug a tyre on the side of the road and then it's a permanent fix. This is for people who dont know what they are doing.
Is this lady on Instagram?
I’d rather have a spare
im in love but not with the civic :D

If this is in Ireland then why is the steering wheel on the left side?
Same thing I thought. Perhaps this video was marketed to woke American drivers........
