Cherry trees are not big trees they have a ton of leaves and are the easiest larger tree to cut down they rarely spawn with logs in leaves

lol you found the only playlist I hadn't fixed yet XD. Idk why youtube makes playlist play new to old by default. Nobody does that, not tutorials or let's plays or anything I've ever found playlist wise. Just something I gotta remember to swap for each new playlist. I appreciate the heads up

I've looked at a lot of those packs in the past but I usually stick to tech packs better. But I think it would be a fun switch up to try a more RPG/exploration style pack.

Two things, when planting crops plant in alternating rows of beetroot and potatoes. The code gives a growth speed debuff if a seed has neighbors of the same type in the x and z directions. Second, you could try spruce trees as they have a pretty good tree to leaf ratio.
Huh... I honestly would build little 3x3 farms 3 high in the air. You know, build what most people do to kill Endermen and farm up there, various crops in lines (3 wheat, 3 beetroot and 3 potatoes) on each platform and have torches under each one to prevent spawns (and give light, of course). That would prevent any Slimes from jumping on the crops and give them more exposure to light (don't know if that makes a difference in this pack but couldn't hurt). Might do the same for trees actually but probably 5x5 platforms for those. Sacrifice some wood to create ladders to get up to the 3 blocks high point or build a trapdoor ladder/staircase. 🤔
...I don't think I explained that correctly but you probably got the point. 😅
Another way I would do it would be to build a ring three high off the normal flat ground, probably 3 lines of dirt around a full chunk (14, 15 & 16 blocks out from the middle). Evenly space out torches under the platform and turn that whole thing, little by little into farmland. Then go in one line/block and do 5 more rings for a tree farm ( line 13, 12, 11, 10 and 9). Like right smack in the middle of the chunk I'd have a 7x7 platform as "home base" for the bed, crafting table and storage, probably the shop cube thing too if you can move it. Always light the bottom and have a way up to each ring/platform on each side that mobs can't climb and a shelter an Enderman can't get into in the middle. The land under the base would probably turn into an upside-down temple shape to get the dirt needed to build that but can later be hollowed out for the Create stuff. 😉 It's just important to keep that space lit so other than the basics, getting torches would be you main expense at first. Once yhe tree farm is teally going it wouldn't be too hard. That's just me though. Everyone has a different style of playing. 😅 👍🏼
