Horses are underappreciated, but you know what is an even more overlooked gem of a vanilla mechanic, especially for a no backpack mod run? Mules. With how you can bring a 'caravan' of them around on leads, they are such a nice little option before shulker boxes are available. Admittedly, just making a portable workshop and/or storage minecart contraptions is also an option, so its debatable if its worth the effort of breeding a fleet of mules...

You should add Immersive Engineering, it goes really well with Create and has some additional decorative blocks like electrical lanterns, and those type of things, I am still trying to get someone to use both in combination but no one is reading the comment :(

I think Stam is using some client side mods aside from Create. Just that’s the only one adding items and such. Rest are likely more client side. I mean, replay is probably in as well as some emi mod by the looks of it.
I'd say keep EMI. It's really just a QOL/time saver. I honestly think it's a mod that should just be integrated in to vanilla MC. Plus you can just turn it off when you don't need it.

I really respect your choice of going lightly modded :D I'm currently in a phase rn where I'm playing very heavily modded, but I'm trying to do it in a way that feels vanilla to me, as if these would be choices mojang would make, so I'm very picky on what gets added and whatnot, and I'm really enjoying it :D once I calm down from this modding high though it'll probably be a long time before I can play again, so major props to you for being able to take it back down a notch :D Also nice to see you're using farmers delight, thats like one of my 3 core mods for any playthrough lol.

Truthfully, I include REI (/EMI/JEI) in all of my vanilla instances. So I don’t think it’s goes against vanilla anymore than the Better Clouds mod does personally.
First thing I do in any new world is look for stony peaks. If you find the ones without snow it’s a smorgasbord of coal, iron and emeralds. Also, I’m deathly afraid of creepers, dark oak forest, swamp and powdered snow and I avoid these like the plague😂.

I would say keep EMI especially for some of the newer people to create and also considering how you forgot about the andesite alloy mixing recipe in the skyblock it still could help.
11:11 instead of tearing it down, why not build some houses and that into the cliff side with different levels, ladders, staircases and pulley systems winding up the cliff?
just looking at the thumbnail i just wana say one thing, you can replace that chain and grind stone with a rope pully (after rope pully is all the way down if you set it up right you can have the pully pull you up to the house)

You should add a mod where villager also work build and mine and guard there is raid and many things I don't know the name it would be great if you want to make kingdom with different town where you don't have to build the village and the villages have some use and trains are good way to transport form one village to another

I love that idea of modding! I think trying to create your own preferred way to play the game when it comes to adding mods is what it is all about!
Fresh Moves is a thing for the Player Animation, and you can also make your skin blink and be expressive with that :)

I would keep JEI, as the vanilla recipe book is clunky when it comes to Create, and JEI also has crushing and washing recipies

Each wheel produce 256. You need a stressometor to check the entire system
