Props to going backpack free. Sophisticated Backpacks is so, so OP that it hurts me to leave it out.
I've never liked that mod I mean I even removed my more balanced backpack mod lol
It's my everything mod, basically. A crutch.
I used it so much on my Create world, but tbh its just a crutch for bad inventory management

You should add Immersive Engineering, it goes really well with Create and has some additional decorative blocks like electrical lanterns, and those type of things, I am still trying to get someone to use both in combination but no one is reading the comment :(

I'd at the very least also add in Storage Drawers to help a bit in terms of the automation, unless you'd like to have chest walls everywhere. Which of course is also not too bad.
The drawers are nice. I’ve not decided yet might add them might not but like I said I don’t want to drown the world in mods

hell, qol mods in general fall into fair game imo
I think Stam is using some client side mods aside from Create. Just that’s the only one adding items and such. Rest are likely more client side. I mean, replay is probably in as well as some emi mod by the looks of it.

The powdered snow is less of a scary part more of an annoying part so I'd much rather have better protection boots :p

I think that's just testament to how PERFECTLY vanilla Farmer's Delight is and feels
Horses are underappreciated, but you know what is an even more overlooked gem of a vanilla mechanic, especially for a no backpack mod run? Mules. With how you can bring a 'caravan' of them around on leads, they are such a nice little option before shulker boxes are available. Admittedly, just making a portable workshop and/or storage minecart contraptions is also an option, so its debatable if its worth the effort of breeding a fleet of mules...
About EMI, I think there's a config that enables to hide until you need to search for something. So it maintains the vanilla inventory feeling while also helping whenever you forget a recipe

I would call the horse "Donkey", because donkeys are the fastest animals in MC, loved the new series btw, keep it up 💪
I'd say keep EMI. It's really just a QOL/time saver. I honestly think it's a mod that should just be integrated in to vanilla MC. Plus you can just turn it off when you don't need it.
9:47 YOU GET IT! They're awesome but if you're using cherry you need to make a pink house or as a tiny tiny accent block, they don't fit with other stuff like the other woods do
You can use them here and there in builds but the trees look so out of place
I like the recipe look up mods just because of the ability to bookmark recipes so if I'm away for a bit I can remember what I was planning next.
11:11 instead of tearing it down, why not build some houses and that into the cliff side with different levels, ladders, staircases and pulley systems winding up the cliff?
Looking forward to seeing where this series goes. Fingers crossed you don’t get any surprise creeper hugs anytime soon, also I really like the choice to move away from super mod heavy packs as it feels like that’s all anyone does nowadays and it definitely detracts from the Minecraft experience. Create works great as a vanilla add on so I’d say it makes a great choice for a low mods playthrough. Also you should name your horse Shadowfax cause it’s white and I’m a huge JRR Tolkien nerd lol
You could add just one small Create addon (Create: Copycats+), definitely the must for good builders ;)

I just started a new world. Did my normal start; worked up a village, got some emeralds, got fortune ...promptly died in lava after 3 hours caving, with over a stack of diamonds and a stack of iron ore blocks lol.

First thing I do in any new world is look for stony peaks. If you find the ones without snow it’s a smorgasbord of coal, iron and emeralds.
Also, I’m deathly afraid of creepers, dark oak forest, swamp and powdered snow and I avoid these like the plague😂.

Fresh Moves is a thing for the Player Animation, and you can also make your skin blink and be expressive with that :)

@@Stam1o It does adds slight modification to the movements, mainly squashes and blending; not as drastic as the better animations mod itself that overhauls the entire animation.
Keep your JEI mod. It honestly should be a vanilla feature.

I really respect your choice of going lightly modded :D I'm currently in a phase rn where I'm playing very heavily modded, but I'm trying to do it in a way that feels vanilla to me, as if these would be choices mojang would make, so I'm very picky on what gets added and whatnot, and I'm really enjoying it :D once I calm down from this modding high though it'll probably be a long time before I can play again, so major props to you for being able to take it back down a notch :D
Also nice to see you're using farmers delight, thats like one of my 3 core mods for any playthrough lol.
I love that idea of modding! I think trying to create your own preferred way to play the game when it comes to adding mods is what it is all about!
Truthfully, I include REI (/EMI/JEI) in all of my vanilla instances. So I don’t think it’s goes against vanilla anymore than the Better Clouds mod does personally.
25:16 I think there is actualy a mod/texture pack for that one, for the body movement and a different one for eye movement (you can customize the eye movement/shape/color etc) but i forgot the name😅

Also, about that mod you talked about, i don't know it's name honestly, that adds the crafting recipes to right of your screen like at 8:15 i believe it is better if you remove it, as it will make the experience truly vanilla, plus you said you already know most of the recipes, so why not increase the challenge?

I would say keep EMI especially for some of the newer people to create and also considering how you forgot about the andesite alloy mixing recipe in the skyblock it still could help.

just looking at the thumbnail i just wana say one thing, you can replace that chain and grind stone with a rope pully (after rope pully is all the way down if you set it up right you can have the pully pull you up to the house)
I prefer the look of chains but that's true. Running power out there would be pain as well

7 seconds into this video i got sent down a rabbit hole of finding out what cape that is (2023 mob vote cape), then wondering why i dont have it despite having met all criteria (some sources say you had to vote on the website (i did), some say you had to join the bedrock edition server (i did that))
mojang has a long history of being bad at giving out capes so i shouldnt be surprised

You should add a mod where villager also work build and mine and guard there is raid and many things I don't know the name it would be great if you want to make kingdom with different town where you don't have to build the village and the villages have some use and trains are good way to transport form one village to another

Each wheel produce 256. You need a stressometor to check the entire system

I don't care if you keep emi or not. My only suggestion is to increase your gui scale for us watching on mobile
GUI scale is at the scale I find the game most comfortable so no plans on changing it. I’ll be continuing to zoom in on things like crafting. Any other areas you would want to see it?
Keep JEI/EMI because while you may know the recipes by heart, viewers might not. And seeing the recipe in JEI format is better to see from a viewers stand-point than the Recipe book.
