If you want a personal use drawer put an additional drawer off the side of your conveyor with a funnel on it twords the conveyor. That will fill first and let the second end point drawer be auto sold. To fix your tree farm rotate the placers so the non-power input side is showing and you can set a filter to just samplings just by clicking one there.
