There are two reasons why I didn't make a video about patching yet: 1. Depending on the unit there are different ways for patching. MIB2High by Harman, MIB2Std by Delphi, MIB2Std with Nav by Technisat, MIB2Std without Nav by Technisat - each requires different approach, different tools, and different level of complexity. 2. I'm not 100% if publishing video about patching the unit is not against YT policy.

Mam informację, że Basic Settings: not activated czy tam not active i nie mogę nic zrobić, do tego wywala mi teraz statyczny błąd, którego nie mogę skasować, chociaż wprowadziłem znów 00 w miejscu wprowadzinego kodu SWAP, to nadal wywala mi ten błąd. Ale bardziej mnie interesuje, co mam zrobić z tym Basic settings, żeby było aktywne Pozdrawiam serdecznie, odwdzięczę się za pomoc

If you have iPhone, get the 2nd generation (the black one). If you have Android you can get the 1st gen (white one, it's cheaper). You will need PRO license as well which you can buy separately or in bundle with the device.

Probably either unpatched FW or wrong VCRN used to generate swap?

it needs to be purchased from authorized VW dealer, same as you would buy a part from them.
Buy from dealer or, if your unit is patched, you can upload self-generated codes.

You forgot to tell the unit need to be patched before this will work. Iff the unit is not patched this will not work you get invalid.

I believe you need ODIS to enter this data, send it to VAG server and generate FEC for your car.
