  • Inspired by the intensely hot, dry desert wind that blows over Morocco, a one-of-a-kind experience.
Though I did not like this scent the very first time I smelled it due to its slightly bitter, medicinal opening and the somewhat stuffy seeming dry air quality it has, I've come to see that as the magic of this fragrance. It transports you immediately to the Sahara desert. It's a deep, rich resinous scent mixing with the smell of scorched shrubs, creating a certain kind of grassiness. This is sweetened by the note of honey and further blended with mysterious floral-woody nuances that make this an ever-so-smooth, complex, and delectable fragrance.

I went on a rollercoaster with this one too. Liked it at first, then not so much. Then loved it, then found the same tobacco and hay note in D&G's Intenso and that kind of ruined it for me. Then I found all the nuances again and really enjoy it now. Can't say it's my fav from the brand, but the blending is superb. I layer it with Oajan sometimes and boy is that a combo. And a half.

I love coming back to a fragrance and loving it! Recently I’m coming back to the middle eastern fragrances. I used to think they were so loud and screechy now, well they’re still synthetic screechy, but I totally get the appeal. The fullness of the experience compared to euro perfumery is so satisfying. Not for all the time but I’m so glad I understood it over time.

@scent and soul, have you ever put your nose on ambre sultan by the house surge lutens, i own that one and a few others from that line, for the exception of chergui, waiting on a good price time to pickup.

I have yes, and for me it was a bit disappointing considering the hype. For ambers, I prefer ambre Russe by parfums dempire or one of the ones from profumum roma

It's just very good, especially if u can find it for less than 100$ which isn't too hard, I'm starting to hate the fruit molecules in the opening of so many popular perfumes

If you’re romantic about Morocco you better go visit Marseille in France and you will quickly realize that you don’t want to go to Marocco or Alger.
