- One day I'll have to get rid of most of my fragrances collection. I don't want them to outlive me and become a burden for somebody else to deal with. This got me thinking, how many fragrances would I like to strip back my collection to and which will they be? I've chose what I think are the ten best fragrances in my collection.

I had the exact same reaction to Oud Wood you described...it was an eye-opening scent and it really ignited my passion for fragrances. I think it's one of those fragrances that has the power to get people into perfumery. An absolute masterpiece.
I love how conciselly this video is presented. We all know how much experience Chris has in the fragrance world, so this insight is very well received and appreciated.
Addictions like fragrance hoarding can be very exciting until you realize you only have a limited amount of time in this life and you are better off thoroughly enjoying the ones that you love most instead of constantly finding the next better fragrance. On the other hand, it provides some sort of satisfaction knowing that you tried everything on the market and only kept the best ones. But then again, time is of the essence here so i will always side with the former. For this reason, I keep a small collection of 5-6 and purchase a new one only after finishing a bottle. In contrast, enthusiasts like yourself have also helped us discover hidden gems and for that I am grateful! 😀

Before I watch this video here is my list of top 5 and no more ever again: Hermes Ambre Nargulie, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, Pure White by Creed, Enigma by Roja Dove and Versace Original Pour Homme from the 1980’s. Always a great channel, good reviews and high quality videos.

I guessed 6! 😁 Naxos, Enigma, Carlisle (and before that it would've been Herod), DHI, Oud Wood and Reflection Man were a given. Don't know how I missed Ombre Leather and Pardon. Tuscan Leather and Pardon were 2 of your favs back in the day. I did guess something from the Le Male line, but yeah, might as well drop Aventus in there instead.

- Cédrat Boisé - Mancera. All year round, garner lots of compliments

Probably CDNI for something cheap, any occasions, crowd pleasing.

Really nice watch. I’m looking at buying the 35mm version-the Tissot PRX 35mm-in either light blue or green. I prefer quartz movements.
Having many makes choosing more difficult, however... I tried thinning out my collection to only 12 of my favorites and ended up having a hard time choosing then as well. There were always others that came to mind as being perfect for the day and i no longer had them.

I've been surprised not to see any Fragrances from Aaron in your top 10 list. I would suggest to replace Aventus because of the constantly changing batches. I bought Aventus last year and it last only 3 hours - not worth the money.

I’m a basic guy. I only need 3 fragrances for life. Silver mountain water for my personal enjoyment , D&G the one for sentimental value (the fragrance I was wearing when I first met my sweet heart who is now my wife) and Armaf CDNI limited edition edp for compliments.

Indeed there is something satisfying about minimalizing your collection... I only had a small collection of around 30 but still decided to get rid of the ones I didn't really wear (essentially don't need)... I'm left with 7 fragrances now and it feels good cause I know that the ones I have are actually going to be of value to me personally... from now on im only buying decants and maybe the number will grow back to around 10-12 but not much more

Hey man. Love your videos. I want you to please do a review of the bvlgari FALKAR. my boss used to wear it. And he claimed it to be the falkar but I don’t think he was sure what it was as it was gifted to him. Scent was oudy. Beastly and used to leave a trail behind him.

I already own everything you mentioned and showed (including the creation e parfum) except the nasamotto, creation e Cologne, and tobacco Vanille lol 😅💸🤷♂️ fragrance addiction is real!
Personally I own 15 but only really use 8 of them, ormonde man, bleu de chanel parfum, oud wood, floris santal, floris elite, floris no 89, and occasionally boucheron pour homme, and NASSOMATTO PARDON.

I think Oud Wood is a masterpiece in air. Just wish it lasted longer. Like Emigma too just too expensive
