So how do you use the paint sticks?
This is something I’m experimenting with. I actually like to use plastic PVC pipes like 2 1/2 inch pipe would be perfect with an endcap on it stick that in the ground bury the soil around it you can pull the pipe back out and see what your moisture and feel put your hand in there feel the moisture level in the hot summer months Put a paint stick could be used I’m looking for ideas should we paint the paint sticks? Should they be sealed up or should they just be raw? Do you have any suggestions?

I laughed out loud when you said, "as long as it doesnt turn into harrassment lol" too funny! I'll be placing my first order by the time you read this. I've sporadically tried over the years to grow giant pumpkins and sunflowers and will be taking it up a notch from this year forth. Im currently constructing a geo thermal/climate battery year round greenhouse to help. Good luck to everyone trying for giants in 2024!!

Yes , we have very strong bio laws here, even interstate,Ive seen china posting seeds to Oz and wondered how it gets through. I would hate to think they are fumigated at security and sent on. This is my first time growing and have a few giant Atlantic happening ,as that's all I could find in Oz. We don't have the mega monster size pumpkins here like the US.
I found it interesting on your website about bugs, our vege patch has no spray and a bug jungle, all the good bugs out way the baddies, having said that, we are in a cold climate compared to the rest of our country. I will be in touch .
