    Get yourself a few cats! We haven't had any problems with mice once feral cats showed up. Someone dumps ferals around here, and we have three now. They do a great job, and we feed them too.

      @@kmb6519 we already have more than we want. The bad thing about living here is feral cats are protected. So they dump them everywhere. The ones who live around here are very wild.

    Does anyone know if a plastic jar of mixed nuts (Aldi's Southern Grove, 1 il., 14 oz.) can be stored in a freezer as is? Or should the nuts be put in mylar bags with oxygen absorbers? Thanks for your feedback.

    • @sukigrice1841
      @sukigrice1841 3 часа назад

      I put nuts in the freezer in original container. As long as not cardboard it should be fine. Decant into glass jars or ues bags they will be ok for 6 mths at least. I decant milk into glass jars for the freezer and put jars of fresh chopped herbs in. Nice to have fresh herbs sometimes.

      Yes, the sooner you get it sealed up the longer it will last... if you open it and immediately seal it up, I would say I will still last for 25 years, if it's already sat out a few days or weeks, I'd add a moisture absorber to give it as much life as you can.
