100% agree the mii gunner Mewtwo matchup is difficult. Gunner nair is so good. The constant pressure from projectiles makes it hard to set up anything. They'll either just jump and nair or reflect my shadow balls. Long story short Gunner nair is busted 😂 I have no idea how to get in since their zoning tools are better than mine and nair walls me out so well.
try approaching safely with down tilts, then nair em to death afterwards heheh
@@Khanso1o their nair beats mine since it's disjointed and covers their entire hurtbox. Their typical response to my approach is to nair. If I down tilt they'll likely just jump over it and hit me for it. None of my aerials really beat it. I've just gotta predict whether they'll shield, roll or mash on landing and punish that. Which is tough 🤧

Shame about darkblue's attitude though, kind of a bummer when you meet a player like that. No shade, but there's a certain etiquette in competition...

Great vid as always. It's great to see you in tournaments! I started maining MewTwo recently and found your videos recently. Even though I can't make it past 5mil GSP I have a lot of fun with the character and your vids really help.

Hopefully your internet following has been helpful and supportive. Sounds like you were pretty anxious about your first tourney attempt. Im glad you felt better about your own performance and mindset this time. Having fun is the most important part of course.
You're definitely skilled enough with mewtwo to do something with him too. Just lack the experience of the guys like wadi but your technical ability seems better. If you can adapt your playstyle to the competitive scene I think you'll do well for yourself.

i think its a combo of small platform and just small stage. Kazuya does best when you cant get away from him. I would also like to say i dont go to tournys so i could easily be wrong

Heck yeah what I wanna see that’s what it’s about I lose a lotta fun I could have with ultimate cuz I have to practice my mains religiously when I wanna play like every character but yah that’s a reason I dropped mewtwo cuz I just wanna take a few wins n then probs quit competitive play all together cuz I wanna play just for fun mewtwo was one of those I just lose hands down everytime with even to good matchups so I just figured drop em for a character I excel with n have more time with but I really wanna see what u can do! And I think you take this character to another level but yah man play the game u want to for fun don’t feel like u gotta preform for anyone but yourself play who u want n do it for fun not for the wins that’s what makes this community so toxic in the first place 9/10 any gaming community im just gonna main this character not cuz I want to but because they get wins bleh ultimate u can kinda avoid that but it still is very present
