thanks for sharing this, I will finally put the luggage in the boot of the rented car. no idea why engineers decided such a weird location for the trigger 🤔☹️

Silly place to have popper, underneath where all dirt from the road settles. Great engineering😂

Well since it is possible to open without key, looks like a good way to avoid surprises .

One of the best videos ever found. Thank you for saving my life trying to find this *** button while I was in a hurry. (Taken it as a shared car)

Wish I'd found this video a day ago before i sat for 5 hours waiting for a breakdown truck because I'd locked the keys of my hire car in the boot thinking "why tf haven't they put a boot release button on this car" 😮‍💨

It is, but kind of a built in theft deterrent

@@simmcowaPang122Not at all. People who steal from cars or steal a car tend to know the vehicle. The way thus opens just seems like an afterthought. I’m curious to hear the excuse for this from the designers.

I hope whoever designed this got fired. Finding how to open the trunk in the rain.. yes it happened to me

It's to protect the car from being open from the back

Seems unnecessary, a two step process to open your hatch

so you must sit on your knees to open the boot?terrible

Well that’s a little extreme. Bending your legs will do just fine.
