- As much as I love working on my own cars, I love changing it up and working on something different every once in a while. Installing the arm motorsports h midpipe and crossover pipe on my friends g80 m3 was a blast. Turned out better than expected as the exhaust really opened up the s58 without it being over the top. The perfect exhaust for daily driving!

Really cool to see the relationship you have with your other car buddies. Inspires me to get more involved with other car people to assist eachother with their builds or vice versa.
I installed a Valvetronics titanium midpipe on my G80 yesterday, it’s beautiful. I love that I get to keep the factory box so it keeps the stock look but it RIPS

Sounds amazing. ARM got good stuff, I have the downpipes and midpipe on my F80
I’ve been impressed with everything I’ve gotten and installed from them so far. Everything lined up so well with this midpipe and made the install very enjoyable.
Sounds good, how do you think they sound compared to F8x? A lot of times on video they sounds the same I know videos aren't always an accurate representation of the sound versus in person
Videos never do exhausts justice. Hard to capture the actual tone, volume, and sound. The s58 does sound way better stock for stock. I think it takes less work to get the s58 to sound good over the s55.
I still think the MAD resonated single mid-pipe is the way to go. Cuts down on a lot of the rasp
Exhaust sounds is all very subjective. I think a lot of the options do sound good on the s58. It just comes down to personal preference.
@@Scoobyfreak86 as a G80 owner, I think the only real way to give it a good tone is swap to a single turbo. A little cost prohibitive though lol

Everyone says the AA equal length midpipe is the best though?
Question: so the QuickJacks don’t work for the G80? Is that the specific quickjack model you have or none of them will work? I was about to order some for mine. I’ll be disappointed if they won’t work for the G80
I have the 5000tlx which is the longer extended version of the 5000 series, but is too short for the g80. They have a 6000elx which is for longer wheel bases and should work on the g80 amzn.to/3KvqBSp

G82 brakes also squeek like hell
Seems like all the g series m cars do it. Apparently the way the OEM pad is seated on the caliper causes it. The only fix right now is aftermarket pads.
