My gf and I are planning on moving out of California to get away from the western style of living and so I can train muay Thai to fight professionally were aiming to move around October but are having trouble finding an online job, if possible do you guys have any work we can do digitally we can set up a call later we are very serious on this and will appreciate the help
We winter in Thailand (not this year unfortunately) and have stayed a month in Building A. Great location. Last year there was a wonderful older couple selling Pad Thai at night outside the main entrance from the Astra. Go outside...turn left . About 10 meters. Lovely people. Have fun. Stayed at an Airbnb at the Astra about 3 years ago. Excellent place for sure if you like condos. There are more charming spaces in CM though. Thanks for your video!

We stayed at this place December 2018. At the time I paid $500 for 1 week, must be cheap now due to COVID. Condo is nice and easy walk to night markets. Will go again next time in Chiang Mai.
I love that condo, but still not paying that much. Luxury is great. Savings is better. This is the time to save. Previous home last year in Chiang Mai was so much cheaper, and by the end of the year, prices shall drop much further. I plan to work from home, live cheap and save like a miser...and Chiang Mai is the place to do it.

Cool video, I like seeing apartment tours and how much they cost in USD. I sent this video to my dad as an example of why I want to live in other countries. My 1 bedroom apartment in the US is about $1800/month. And that's really nice of you to plug their channel.

I’m staying there in November. I chose building B on purpose. I like the idea the seating area around the pool is not covered in building B and I also like the fact the condo’s are further away from the busy main road.

And if you are of the Jewish faith, there is a Chabad House to your left (as you walk to the street) about a 100 feet down (it surprised me, felt like I was back in New York). You are a good generous soul. Keep it up... but first get a new lens!😜 By the way, are you from the UK or Ireland?
Just a heads up of anyone else is planning for quarantine, you can stay together if unmarried at a lot of hotels. There's a Facebook group, if you search for asq theres loads of hotels telling you if they do it or not.

Yes you need to book it first - some places allow just a deposit upfront so in case you need to cancel it won’t be too bad! It needs to be booked before you get on a flight/get your certificate of entry! ☺️

How did they miss all of the required information to book travel? No one was hiding it. Everything has been shared in FB groups, Twitter, and local Thai media for almost 9 months. I find that very strange. 🙄
Hi there! That’s not necessarily true - we kept up to date with every single development and since there were strict guidelines that the U.K. could not apply for a Thai visa for quite some time we only found out over Facebook as soon as there were talks that the TR visa would return (with application necessary) we literally applied within days of it being available to us in the U.K. The confusion was in the STV visa which we sent countless emails to the Thai embassy in london/Sweden as well as numerous other places just to be told that this wasn’t available - whilst the Thai news were stating that it was. Therein was the confusion! Hope that clears it up ☺️🙌🏼
Wish my society was this pretty. The maintenance cost would be quite a lot if it were. I am a cheap bastard i would much rather take normal houses and save some money and use it to travel...
Thats what a lot of other xpats are up against when some xpats pay to much for hire or rent then they think they can't rip off other xpats looking for a deal .

it's the upper end I would say... 12 - 15 is pretty normal for a place that size...pre-covid those rooms would have been 20 - 22k
